See, I respect your opinion regarding Kautoga, but I disagree - give him more experience now, and in 1 or 2 years, he will be a much better player.

He made some errors today, but did plenty of good things, too.

I think leave him on the NRL bench to get that experience, maybe mixed with some higher minute games in Cup to put into practice what he's learning and rub out the error rate a bit. Then come back up to NRL and do it again.

There is some genuine raw talent in this team.

But today's win was pure attitude, and desire.

We never gave up.

Smith and Iongi are two young guys that I think have shown a lot of promise early on, hopefully bodes well for the future.

Iongi is going to be rocks and diamonds for at least 2 seasons, but he should find some consistency eventually.

I'm surprised by Smith to be fair.

Yeah, good point. Maybe an opposition scrum feed from the point where it sailed out?

Different to the kick not travelling 10m, which should be a penalty every time.

Very good to get that win. We wanted it and fought for it. Just need to reduce the amount of dumb errors and work on being more aggressive with line speed throughout the game.

Much better from Brown and Paulo.

Thanks goodness, with Moses out we had a FG taker option! And great pass from Smith - I've seen so many worse FG passes from seasoned dummy halves.

Actually disappointed we didn't get to see them play together in the NRL for a few years...both have different skill sets which would have complimented each other...

BTW - happy to say Smith has surprised me. The Maltese warrior has done good.....

Boods will be a decent NRL player he doesn't have that energy Smith brings.
