I have absolutely no idea what these officials are looking at. I dont know how that Dragons try was allowed, thankfully the overturned that other one but a clear forward pass leading up to it.

With the Hawkins one, it was supposedly an uncontested drop out which is why it wasnt a play the ball. Its a confusing rule the referees have no idea about.

The other one I dont understand was just before Gutho's 2nd try where the Dragons got a six again after the Dragons bloke looked like he dropped it into the Eels player while trying to offload.

With the drop out I've seen them call drop outs that don't go 10m as just play the balls. They also can't be contested as the ball didn't go 10 but not a penalty. Dumb rule, the refs don't even know what's going on.

Earlier in that sequence they called us pushing the dragons out after momentum had stopped. Seemed the dragons got a lot of calls today, there was one in the 2nd half where the dragons were calling for a 6 again but sutton had no idea what happened so just called 6 again. And then can't forget leilua just staying down for a penalty and getting it. Awful officiating

Maybe just think of it like an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. Like that penalty the other week when someone pretended to be the ref and we got the penalty rightly. That ref just made that up but he was dead right.

Why is Hayne celebrating a parra win vomit worthy.

The bloke made some mistakes and served time for it weather he was guilty or not.

Time to let it go and let him move on with his life.

He is a Parra man till he dies despite his idiotic Titan Stint

Rewatching - that Iongi one on one tackle on Gutherson at 20-all was pretty special. Miss it and it was try time/game over Gutherson should have done better.

Also Brown's cover tackle at 20-26 which resulted in the foot on the line was another try/match saver.

However Kautoga's second half goal line missed tackle for the Dragons try that got them to 20 was appalling.

Paulo was great today, that’s what we need from him every week as our forward leader. Hopefully not as many minutes each week though.
Moretti brought some physicality, looking forward to having he and Williams in the pack when he’s back from injury. Will bring a bit more intensity to our middle.
I don’t mind Hopgood starting at 9. Just needs to keep the passes crisp. He isn’t offering much running the ball (or in defence at times unfortunately), so not too much of a loss playing him at 9 as long as he passes well and makes his tackles. Allows smith to play 60 as well, he’s been unreal but don’t think he’s an 80 minute player week in week out yet. Not many hookers in first grade attack the game like he does and play 80. Maybe Harry Grant and Robson.
Don’t mind Russell at centre, will hopefully improve playing more game time there. Don’t think simmo is ready for 1sts yet, doesn’t seem to be running as well as he did.
We need a damaging second rower. Kitione is getting caught out positionally in defence and missing tackles. Unfortunately he seems to have the same non aggressive attitude that his counterpart on the other side also has

Much better from a lot of players today. A return to form for Dylan and Junior. Iongi just had so much time on the ball, a bit more experience and stability in the spine and he'll be a gun. Lomax and Smith just do so many things that aren't quantifiable, same with Walker. Intensity lifted massively from his first touch. I can't wait to see the work he can do alongside Hopgood, Williams, Doorey and Tuivaiti.

The negatives, Lane and Ofahengaue are just done for mine. Neither offer much to the team anymore and once we get players back from injury both are in big trouble of losing their spots.
