And therein lies the dilemma for the Tits and Fifita.
I reckon he's Super League bound.

I don't think Fifita will be going anywhere in the short term. The Titans have confirmed he has an ankle injury requiring surgery which will sideline him for 3-4 weeks.

... at the right price.

E.g. nearly every club would take Fifita for $500k. No-one would take him for $1m.
Would they? How many clubs actually would want David Fifita for that price? I hope mine wouldn't.

It's not just the price. You put David Fifita in your top 30 and you're obliged to play him in the NRL side to start, and if he shits the bed and isn't training well, that doesn't help your environment. He goes back to ressies, doesn't aim up there either, and you've got a guy that even for $1, isn't worth the hassle.

Roosters and Panthers wanted him last year...I presume that would still be true now, but you couldn't guarantee it.

Any chance the Roosters are trying to get DCE in this year? That’s the only thing I can think of considering how erratic they’ve been here.

Would be a f**king shit thing to do to Manly after his time there but DCE is only about DCE.

Nothing would surprise me with the self centred prick.

Even QLD didn’t want him anywhere near the joint until they had no choice.

They said he was a bit different…..

Roosters recruiting the past few years have been odd, like the ADHD implusive kid who just buys the first shiny toy they see without any thought behind why they want it

I hope they sign DCE and one of their young halves cracks it and pisses off and starts winning elsewhere
Smith's agent apparently has, problem is he's not a half.

He can't kick and has no ball playing capability. Great 14 or decent attacking 9 as he's an intelligent ball runner on a retreating line but we already have his career prototype in Watson so if he buggers off vs us paying 6 money that's a win.

Interesting to see if he passes another clubs medical, given the stuff going around about his fitness.

Should have moved him on rather than RCG Rylesy ya pretender

Nah Ryles was right on both players.

They both have pea hearts and character is questionable with both players.

You don’t rebuild a house with rotting timber.

Roosters are gonna end up paying more than Newcastle for Dom Young to play in Newcastle.

Excellent work.
That's called the sunk cost fallacy.

Yes clearly you'd rather not be in that situation but it requires a time machine to fix.

The decision now is do you get more from the cap relief, and is the other team paying him more than you would if signing him today.

Yes if it keeps happening you have to axe the decision maker though (already happened).

We haven't done great job recently, missing on a couple of key players, but given the succession issues we've had and still made finals each year it's a stretch of the bow to call them poorly run

Nah RCG is a rare unit but he's a leader in his own way at least compared to the Muppets we kept. And given we kept Matto I think we pulled the wrong rein.

Matto I agree, hence I would have moved him on.

If Parra give Ryles time to build the roster the way he wants it Parra will be fine long term.
