I really think this team is a mixture of lazy and poorly coached in regards to some really basic things. Cover defence, rarely if ever are there numbers busting their guts to get back, once a break is made its basically a try as the fullback couldn't tackle his dinner and if he does manage to at least slow the play down no one's giving him a hand anyway.

Diving on loose balls, how often do you see a single opposition player beat 3 or 4 of our players who should have an easier job getting to it but they all stand around looking at it.

Protection of bomb catchers, non existent except for the times someone like ramien will just give a stupid penalty away for a blatant block.

Kick pressure, nah no need for that obviously.

When I was very much on the Fitz wagon a few years back I always worried he was just here till the roosters came calling when Robbo finished up there, somehow I don't think that'll ever be happening.

The complacent, arrogant Sharks showed up last night. Errors, missed tackles and piggyback penalties. All the usual stuff when they think the job is done before taking the field.

Roosters kicking for Tupou with Hiroti on 1 leg was the most obvious tactic ever. The Sharks did nothing to combat it. Ramien stood there for both tries. Coach switches Ronnie to combat Coates last week. No thought to that this week.

The defensive intent was poor. No connection just going through the motions. The attack was sideways and slow. Easts wanted that game much, much more than Cronulla. Getting smashed on effort in unacceptable. Poor mindset to go on a mental holiday before the bye.

Loved our plan was to go left all night and target the rugby player, only he was up for it and we weren’t doing anything, but just kept going back there again and again. I guess we don’t offer a threat on our right, ramien is honestly f**ken useless. Got owned by Billy smith.

once again, our forwards were bullied. Radley single handedly destroyed our forward pack. Talakai was the only one who looked like making a dent or smashing blokes in defence, but only gets 20 minutes..

Our first try of the night came through the middle quite easily, then we go back to sideways shit and Nikora, which every team seems to have figured out.

dropped balls and shit first contact in defence killed us again. Some of the attempts (kaufusi, Nikora) are pathetic only 5-10 minutes into the game.

Trindall is also a passenger.. but he can kick well and is only on $650k a year, so we won’t mention that.
