How is asking for current gen graphics to look like current gen a bit rich? The criticism of graphics is a bit rich tbh. Gamers have been spoilt from major titles for years now with graphics.
Players of this game won't care about graphics as much so long as game play is smooth.
If the CPU players don't do strange things like run backwards before recieving a pass, arbitrary knock ons/forward passes, smooth passes, etc etc, it would probably be an enjoyable game to play.
I'm just hoping there's significant room for modding like in previous games. It's RL26, so I'm hoping they keep room for the additions of Perth, PNG, etc etc etc with a heap of international teams.

In the first set of the game, followed by "Been doing it all day" followed by some ingenuous laughter in the surrounding area.It better have some wag in the crowd calling out "get 'em on side ref" or otherwise its not realistic and I won't be buying it![]()
Or a cover. Or any hype. Or any screenshots except for those of the SuperLeague.Such a strong vote of confidence that it comes out in weeks and we've got 0 game play footage.
For those with a Switch, you'll have to let the rest of us know how it plays vs RL26. I see that it isn't including licensed teams, jerseys, logos, comps, ect, so their main focus will likely have been on gameplay and enjoyment.
