Still unclear, some media have Hetherington as one of the new owners as part of a group but there is no clear indication at this point who the actual owners are.

Lets hope Freshwater Strategy advise them better than they advised the Western Bears bid!

Pretty much any other lol The term 'Hounds' hardly inspires, is a marketing dream, or relates to London.
Ravens, Royals, Monarchs, Pearls, Guard, Kingsmen, Spitfires, redcoats. so many possibilities

The London Hounds seems to come out of left field.
I'm not sure who would have thought of the idea.
I had a meeting with Gary and urged him not to change the name of the club. The Broncos may not be a wildly successful club but at least they have some name recognition.
To completely rebrand them will be expensive, if it is to be done properly, and its success will not be guaranteed.
It sounds to me more like a fox hunting organisation, which won't necessarily guarantee its popularity with the audience Gary is trying to attract.

The Broncos makes the least sense. There's already a Broncos brand in RL that will never be surpassed.
Rugby League is full of idiots and thankfully there's more people coming to power that simply ignore the idiots.

Following recent reports in the media London Broncos would like to clarify that no decision has been made in regard to any name change.

Gary Hetherington has recently spoken openly about ongoing discussion and research about a possible rebrand however no such decision will be made until an ownership group is in place.

“The Hounds” is a name that has been recommended and registered although we reiterate that no decision has been made.

As soon as the Club is in a position to update fans with any news this will be announced accordingly through the official channels.
