Plus some good Paul Westerberg songs.

Can't wait to pick it up, Gene Kelly, Olivia Newton John, Jeff Lynne, Richard Tandy, Michael Beck signed it, can't make out the other sigs from the photo but i assume Bev Bevan will be on it, it has a proper certificate of authentication so will be able to work it out once i get it.Very, very cool Horrie. I'm jealous!

I already have a signed CD from Olivia Newton John but having Gene Kelly on it is amazing, Jeff Lynne is on there but Richard Tandys sig really stands outI'm a huge Warriors fan so having Michael Becks sig on there is very, very cool.
Michael Becks is fairly prominent also. It looks in fairly good condition but will most likely get it re framed once i get it.Is the prized Matt Latanzi signature there? My little sister is moving to the UK at the end of year and has gifted me this as she cannot take it with her .

Lol, it could well be, there are three sigs i cannot work out from the pic my sister sent me, guess i will work it out when i get it. The ones i cannot get even blowing the pic up are one in the top left corner and the two in the top right corner. Is the prized Matt Latanzi signature there?
Actually, dead heat Cocktail with Saturday Night Fever.
Wanted to have a musical career before his career as a director took off. Was in a couple of bands but they weren't very goodIn terms of musical scores, Carpenter films (even the later crummy ones)_had a damn good score.
That does not surprise me....he absolutely had a knack of setting the mood with a great score....probably the best of all time in the horror genre. Only really matched by the Spielberg / Williams combo.Wanted to have a musical career before his career as a director took off. Was in a couple of bands but they weren't very good
Irene Cara had quite the run there.Grease and Saturday Night Fever would have to be up there in the top soundtracks of all time.
Another guity pleasure of mine is the Flashdance soundtrack
I remember watching the remake of "Assault on Precient 13". It was a pretty good remake.......but, I remember absolutely missing a Carpenter-like score.Definitely agree he is the best at setting the tone of the movie. My absolute favourite from him is certainly Escape From New York.
