Perth seemed to be really lacking any front rowers of note, they're in very high demand and short supply these days.
Without a genuine front row combo, they're seriously going to struggle.

I'm constantly being lied about, been called a loser, a Trolley boy, Scrotum brain whatever but I draw the line at being called a racist, I've never made a single racist remark. It's a complete lie. We can all agree that we like home born heroes like Andrew Johns and I hope that PNG get first pick of what may be a future star and a home grown hero.
The other supposed racist remark was about Muslims and even though a Muslim isn't a race, even the remark itself was that I don't enjoy the company of fanatics, I no issue with Muslims, I'm in a Muslim country as we speak and even they don't like fanatics.
Now to constantly bandy about calling me racist for no other reason but to discredit me is one thing but the fact now twice he has indicated that he thinks racism is funny.. which makes me certain that this whole campaign is pure projection and he most likely is an actual racist.

He will be in the role first 3 seasons maximum …. He is there mainly trying to attract some players to the club whilst Gardiner is your Xs and Os guy that will do the leg work game weeks in the meantime…Reminds me a bit when the GWS Midgets went with Kalvin Shandy when they started off …

The Bears aren’t forgoing any premierships during that 3 year period Mal is in the chair … I don’t think Arthurs would have done much better attracting players or getting wins ….it might be some hard yards initially if you haven’t worked that out yet

I have some bias against Mal for picking Ponga for the roos even though it was obvious he didn't want to or see himself representing Australia. Before you could represent both the Island nations and state, he'd try and get them playing for the Maroons along with Kiwis- which also locked them into a roos jumper.

For a slight improvement of his roster.. or to deliberately sabotage growing RL nations.

Then I take issue with the fact that he resided over the most talented playing groups I've seen in my lifetime and still receives credit for it being the coach.

Now, I'm a Titans fan, I grew up on the GC, went to their first game. It's been a long slog and the question for me has always been how can the GC forge it's own identity? Preston Cambell was the closest we came to that until Young Jayden came on the scene.. woohoo! Kid might be the next big thing and lead the Titans out of the dulldrums and he's as Gold coast as it gets!
RL was going to finally explode on the GC and be the franchise we always wanted it to be!

Totally agree, if Brad Arthur had gotten the Bears job his son Jakob would’ve been the halfback so I am really glad that he didn’t.

I have to agree here guys, the constant fighting does my head in, one of you needs to be the bigger person and just not continue on.
If somebody has info or an opinion they don’t always need a source, just be glad you might know something that the useless journos don’t, sit on it and see if it comes to fruition.
There is nothing worse when you have info, you are excited to share it and then somebody replies “source” ?
