Need JAC to pull him aside and talk to him if he can stop laughing.
He needs to be made aware how his career can be turned upside down in an instant if he goes down this path.

JAC has come back very well and realised he stuffed up. Iongi has a lot of football ahead of him and it would be a shame if he threw his career away
I think JACs message would just be not to have someone around with a phone. Especially crumpet.

It can’t be hard to work out who put this picture up on social media. The NRL media should name them. It is much worse to do what that person did than what Iongi did.

Concerning they couldn’t get a hold of him initially, he’s also someone who I didn’t necessarily expect this from, goes to show high percentage of footballers are morons and future convicts if it wasn’t for the game
a few weeks back ppl were talking about no pathways for fullbacks at Parra.

I said, you don't know what might happen. 2nd year syndrome, injury, suspension...

There should be a charge for putting a private photo up on social media without consent.
This woman (going off the handbag) should be named and outed.

Once she handed it over to the media, she was covered by confidentiality, as they don't reveal their sources.

I agree, it sucks.

We should definitely suspend him for one game, but not until we have finished our investigation, which will be after round one.
I’m in two minds…
1. Fine and suspension for being dipshit, or
2. Assuming no other photos and it’s out of his bloodstream..”it’s tobacco and I’m happy for you to prove otherwise. Let’s beat the storm!”
Probably option 1.

I thought it was as put up on social media. Parra could ask him who it is and then leak that info to the other media.
It’s a mistake to let the person get away with it. Online bullying is very damaging.

I haven't seen any proof that this Iongi situation happened while he was a Parramatta player.

Likewise, I haven't seen any evidence that what he was doing was illegal.

If this happened before he became an Eel ,then surely the most appropriate course of action would be a private discussion with Ryles? Why should he be suspended for something that happened before he even joined the club?

If it is found that he was doing this as an Eel, then we get onto the second point - proof that what he was doing was illegal needs to be submitted.

It could be any number of substances which are not illegal.

Most players that get photograhped with a suspicious substance cop a week and a fine, not necessarily because it was illegal (can;t prove it) but it's a bad look and brings the game into direpute.

Shaun Lane got in trouble while contracted to Parra for something he did prior to joining. I don't think he was suspended.
