Anyway, so are we thinking that the future is Lorenzo and Fletcher as our long term 6 and 7? Or is there someone else coming up that it could be or someone a little older like Twidle as a 6?

Bamblet may go pass all three in 12mths.
Little I've seen of Lorenzo he plays very fast which is a possitive.
Twidle does look sleek with the ball and is stronger running the ball then I thought. Unsure about his defense but ive not seen heaps of him.
Joash is a work in progress also and probably still some chance as well.
The problem is Twidle,Bamblet and Joash preferred position I think is fullback?? Others can probably know more and seen more of them.

Lorenzo should be the 6 next year I still don't know what Rlyes has planned for Joash. We all saw how he plays last night on the left very fast and light on his feet can ball play stop and put in a kick.

Fletcher looks to be the replacement for Moses we can only hope Ryles has sold him the dream that he is the next 7 he just needs to do his apprenticeship in the lower grades.

Twidle is decent but will really need to get some luck to get a run in first grade for us. If he could get a spot in another squad he should take it or try the Super League. He is a good ball player and also can backup. Played well in the Trial.

Bamblett is a year in development behind Fletcher too good not to be talked about playing better this year than last year as well. Corey Norman like but hopefully better...

Then in Ball you also have Risati who has been out injured who has some wraps but is a few years away...

How did Davis go on the weekend? Real live wire.

Agree Bamblett could he probably is better at fullback just for his attack. But can still be good at 5/8.

I have the same thoughts on Lorenzo he does everything at 100 miles an hour..

I just think we need to keep as many of these boys in the system for as long as possible and let the cream rise naturally.

Yes. I looked at few previous sg ball winning sides and you generally might get 2 or 3 that become NRL players. Its nice to think we have about 8 in this side but history tells us its unlikely. But hey you never know your luck.

Team lists are up. Harold Matts:

SG ball:

Vella in for Howlett. Petrus and Pakoti are starting, with Polley and Faumui dropping to the bench. The blank number 10 might be the return of Talagi. Or Nunn. Or Ong.

Howlet was probably dropped. Far to slow.
Katarac injured it seems. May have 4 of our best middles out.

I doubt he was dropped he has been doing his job for the first 3 rounds. His defence has been his best aspect.

Yeah if Katarac is out that's sucks with Ong Nunn and Ryda out.
