Take my comments as another traumatised Parra fan. But my take is as bad as Melbourne Storm are, the “poor old Parra” will serve as a feel good story in the media when Melbourne pumps horrifically in round 1 saying things like;

“The thing Parra were saying about our club really brought us together as a club and that’s why I dedicated my 4th try celebration to have some fun.”
Cam Munster.

“They have openly attacked our club and what we stand for for, that’s why we made a point tonight despite the circumstances we needed to send a message”.
Craig Bellamy.

“Thanks to Melbourne of helping me realise how much Parra sucked. I really enjoyed scoring so many tries go a change”.
Jack Hetherington.

Storm players walk out in unison holding a Lomax banner and after they put 50 on Parra to end your season in Round 1, Harry Grant in his post match interview with Cronk says they did it for Zac as he is hurting so hopefully that cheered him up.

I bet you a $50 to a charity of choice Parra win.

I don't like top 17s

It would be better putting up a depth chart
For sure, especially since most clubs (maybe all of them) wouldn't have 17 guaranteed top 17 players. Most clubs would be lucky to have 15 genuine first graders. Some wouldn't even have 13.

Well its only missing JAC now since lomax has gone rogue and even with JAC i wouldnt say we move up that much. I do think when we had both we had a strong back 5 but that doesnt exist anymore.
Lomax leaving as late as he did has really left us in the lurch. Even if we had let him go back in May or whenever it was, would've been too late to adequately replace him for 2026. This is why we are dragging him through the courts. f**k that merkin.

Seems to me if you have $50 to splash on a silly little bet, that you could just do the right thing.
Which is to put that $50 across multiple actual bets to maximise your earnings so that each week you can donate $50 to charity out of the winnings. It’s a surefire philanthropic trust fund.
