To me Vic, ideally it would be better for HGB to have 3 grades of Wests Tigers, NRL, KOE and Flegg.
Have SG Ball down to matts as pathways so it would streamline and make better use of players coming into grade. Prepare them to play with the big boys.
I also hate it when Balmain play against Western Suburbs when often we are playing against ourselves... thoughts?

Possible v probables has been around forever. It can only make the WT's stronger.
At the end of the day, the ultimate goal is to produce FG players, not all will make it.

Talented players from the Balmain Tigers' junior pathway system (SG Ball Cup) progress to the Wests Tigers Jersey Flegg side, then if good enough they play for Western Suburbs Magflies in KOE, then if still good enough they play for wests tigers in the NRL, friggen rediculous. Unite this club HBG and get rid of the two logos.
Balmain Tigers previously had a rich history in the Jersey Flegg competition in their own right, winning several premierships, including 1988.
Stop half the crowd shouting magpies and the other half shouting tigers.
We are Wests Tigers!
Stuff this possible probable crap idea, what a load of baloney.
I can understand the logistics of the kids playing for Balmain or Western Suburbs because of the school locations and home but adults, nah.
When are we going to settle on jerseys that are EQUAL in BLACK, GOLD and WHITE especially with merch.
I'm sick if poor quality black crap merch. HBG, stop fuelling the us and them for Pete's sake.
Continual board room upheaval which has been going in since 05 is a classical example that you have to cut this cancer out.

I'm convinced Masi is going to be very good, but would like him to learn the NRL before we go to far.

But that is a pretty decent backline.

Something tells me he signed with us because he was promised to be fast tracked into the NRL and probably has clauses in his contract to that effect.
Whether this is possible these days and it might sound silly, but do you blame me for thinking this way?
