Fox headline, "Red V heartbreak as Bulldogs win Vegas thriller after controversial golden point call"
Nothing changes every year same crap, mark my words, Illawarra shiela's will start enthusiastically, lose a couple by a point or 2, lose a couple by controversy, a few players will get injured, then the rot will set in, Bottom four team 1000%.
Nah…fox headline. “Galvin stars in courageous victory for the mighty bulldogs over some over team”

I mean Suli copped and elbow to the head and conceded a penalty for it so this is the nonsense we were up against, Dogs are the new media darlings and Crighton can do no wrong so obviously they'll get the rub of the green hell they lauded Galvin as "brave" for leaving the Tigers it's absolutely sickening.

Dogs always have and always will buy their success plain and simple
There are five teams that the NRL favours because their fans are numerous when they win and disappear when they lose.

Bulldogs, Roosters, Broncos, Storm and Souths.

NRL wants those teams to win as it gets views and clicks.

Teams like the Dragons and the Eels get just as many clicks when the lose and the press posts hatchet pieces about them. When they win their fans click in celebration and when they lose opposing fans click to join in the pile on. There are more clicks from negative headlines about the Dragons and Eels than positive.

Refereeing mistakes for these give teams tend not to get punished and referees don't get dropped so of course there is an unconscious bias as referees do what keeps them getting first grade money.

Disgusting call from the ref to hand the weak gutted dogs that win.
Any supporter who is critical of the effort or guts that Dragons team showed today should hang their heads in shame and go follow another club. That was a performance to be proud of despite being utterly ripped off.
That game was literally stolen from us.

Your post made sense until you said Roosters fans are numerous.

Yep..unfortunately we missed our golden opportunity with a minute to go...was there for the taking but to much hesitation with the dropped attempt....still lots to be taken out of this game....would have loved to have won but most of the calls went against us...its hard to gain momentum when you keep getting the pea blown out of the whistle
There was a dogs player laying between Cooky and the pass to Val. Cooky had to step out and around the dogs player. Took away Val's time to kick it sweetly.
