I`m angry about Palestine, I understand that the Palestinians have got to get their act together about getting rid of Hamas, but what Israel is doing to legitimate Palestinian farmers and occupants in the West Bank is so bloody wrong and it is being ignored.
I won`t comment on this again, it`s irrelevant here and not the place.
this will be my last comment on this as well but hamas in the Gaza Strip is good for Israel hence why they midwifed the organization.

Yeh politics on league forums is pretty meh

There’s a few posters that when it comes to league are gold standard for me but their politics I find horrendous and opposite to me

Not too fussed either

The thing I like about league is someone like me lebo from inner west in Sydney can sit next to a redneck from north qld at a league game and be totally the same

I remember sitting at a Lebanon game in Canberra, with Lebanese people, talking footy. So cool.

I was at Kogarah one night a long time ago with a beautiful girlfriend I had at the time and Saints scored in the far corner in the last minutes to snatch the game and in all the kerfuffle I found myself jumping up and down on the benches in a mutual hug with this huge hairy Lebanese bloke, jeez it was funny, we all had a good laugh.

So true, my first instinct was to ignore people like that but on reflection now, I try to engage, keep the politics out of it and maybe that way we can get a bit more understanding in the world.
I hope I don`t seem like too much of a hypocrite given my earlier rant.

You need to look at what "local time" would translate into TV times on the east coast in Australia. No way are Channel 9 and Fox Sports going to want NRL games being played in the middle of the night AEST or breakfast time. Its one of the reasons Vegas has work so far, is that they can play them locally at a good time to get a crowd whilst not disrupting the preferences of the broadcasters.

The NRL might be stronger standing up to media pressure about things than in the past, but they won't want to antagonise them either.

I think 2028 is the most realistic Year.
( All in Australia time)
Saturday
Tokyo:
Warrington vs Wigan
Bulldogs vs Melbourne
Canberra vs Sharks

Sunday
Vegas :
Hull FC vs Saint Helens
Tigers vs Broncos
Manly vs Souths

Friday
Port Mosby
PNG Chiefs vs Cowboys

Saturday
Auckland
Warriors vs Titans

Brisbane
Dolphins vs Roosters

Sunday
Sydney
Parramatta vs Newcastle
Perth
Bears vs Dragons

That's 5 countries. I'd leave it like that for a few years to see if it's successful before expanding.

You’re right about the season opener but they could play one odd games in Asia or Middle East if the dollars were good enough

youd leave out the most successful team of the decade with one of the biggest names in the game as a bye? lol
