I'll say it. The NRL were threatening every merkin under the sun that if you touch R360 you'll get ban hammered from playing in the NRL for a time that is virtually your football career. Now they do a 180, 'the game needs him' and it's then twisted to make ol' mate Zac be the victim in all of this. Bad publicity for the NRL, mega dollars spent on lawyers plus opening a giant can of worms for other players who decide to chuck a tanty.
Let's remember. We had Lomax on our books for four years, so his wing spot wasn't paramount in the minds of our recruitment team as far as a replacement was concerned less than a year ago. The gun for hire has now got a bullet stuck in the chamber.

I think if this goes through court, we probably wind up with nothing except vindication. It probably (although they’ve seem fixated enough on him to get this far) doesn’t affect what Scum or someone else are going to offer. So fielding offers makes sense, but we’ve also been pretty explicit in what we want, and if Scum keep coming back with some pissant offer, they can get f**ked

He has spent most his career bar maybe 2 seasons injured. He can play and has always been rated but injury prone.
