Can the 355 first grade games be broken by a current player?

Cronin was and still is my all time favourite player, if he had been less obstinate and had the desire he could have more records to his name. He should have games deducted for frightening the shit out of staff by turning up at the last minute.
:lol: The 86 GF - that is a brilliant story.

He could have still held most games and most points.

And a Premiership. Don't forget the Premiership.
But SBW won all the Roosters premierships single handedly!

So this record is only obtainable to players of the rich clubs?

What the shit are you on about? Cowgirls fans are loonies.

Anyway, Pearce is well ahead of anyone else currently I'd say. If (permanently) fit he'll break it in his early 30s.

Clearly this record would be easier to attain by members of Salary cap busting squads.

It's akin to claiming Ty Williams 3 Origins are more impressive than Simon Mannering's 0.

A better record of longevity would be how many regular season games played.

Ahhh, so the record is only attainable by players who play for clubs that aren't shithouse and actually win finals matches.

Now we're on the same page.

Will be really disappointing if in ten years or so the record for the NRL's longest serving club player is held by Mitchell Pearce or Darius Boyd..

Exactly. Shane Perry was a better player than anyone who didn't play finals in 2006, and deserves to be recognised as such.

He shouldn't pass it at age 33, but the esteemed John Morris is only 11 away from cracking 300. Wow.

Now that's something right up there with the Immortals, a bloke that is just one of many hundreds but can sit his grandkids on his knee and tell them he was special
