    He's popular for good reason! He commands the camera, gives as much time as people ask of him... hes a bit of a feel good story, got caught for drugs, did his time and now found redemption back in League. His is a good story, and people remain fascinated with him.

    Tickets Sold for Eels vs Tigers at the SFS

    I bought a Ticket on Monday with PAX# 7450 Then two more on Tuesday with PAX# 10,470 LTH mentioned above as @ Thurs he was PAX# 14766 I figure by tomorrow the number should be approx 17000, plus SFS Goldies plus Wests Tigers STH's plus walk up starts.... im predicting approx 28,000. Cracking...

    Yeah, I noticed that as well. I thought for a minute he may have been looking for a contact lens even?? I missed the arm wrapped, so that would make more sense. It was great to see the crowd hang around... its amazing how much better people respond when they actually take the time to walk over...

    Mr Paul Osborne has the job. The rest is just to be seen as going through the processes. Its Done and dusted. Great appointment by the Eels i believe. A highly respected man who will be a good fit for our club. Welcome aboard Ozzy

    I like the fact that Mortimer played what was in front of him!! The sign of a good player and so often lacking these days! He's got plenty of good and bad moments ahead of him, no doubt. Im just looking for him to keep learning and improving, not the next greatest thing yet.

    Its been a while 1 Eyed Tezza :D i believe he played one game for Wenty then they had a bye. I didnt see them, but according to the real 1Eyed Eel, he didnt play too well. Hes been picked in the centres this week for wenty, but unless Tautai has a shocker, i dont think well see him back in 1st...

    Yep - leaving shortly with eelectRick! A few pre game beers then over to the ground for 5:30pm game. After heading to the Waratahs game last night (free tickets. To many stoppages, subdued crowd, didnt enjoy it at all!) im looking forward to a game i can get into.

    I think if Eric is prepared to put in the hard work, which he has been, then he deserves the right to at least defend his porsition. Mentally he is in a better place than he was last year. Who cares if he claims music is his number one love.... it doesnt mean he can't still be a good first...

    Thanks Bartman! ive been hanging out on the filthy_spammers site for several years now, it tends to die down in the off season... and i need my fix!! im sure you know what i mean... theres plenty of people contributing on this forum, im impressed! I may just have to hang around! haha yes the hammer...

    Hey guys.... im new on here... so go easy on me :D I hope, for the eels sake that he has nothing to answer for. We seriously do not have the depth nor experience at this point to lose Fuifui! ive got a good feeling we will see him lining up in round 1.:pray:
