Certainly Host has had enough ‘break out’ years without much impact.

Signings for 2020 and future looking team

For three years or so I have continually heard that Mary will be going, that he is on borrowed time. Well he must have borrowed a lot of time because once again he is in charge and Gould’s ‘review’ showed just how powerful his connections and mates are. Flanagan’s appointment makes me more...

    Adam Doueihi

Perhaps I have only seen his average games but for me Adam is overrated. In the crucial games towards the end of last year he was less than impressive. He made several crucial mistakes and defensive misreads, and we’ve got enough players who do that already. As I said, maybe I watched the wrong...

Any news on our new CEO

Not directed at you personally Coffs but the whole concept of ‘one side versus the other’ is part of the problem with our club. It’s a marriage we are stuck with so let’s get on with it.

    Adam Doueihi

We have not got the money Frank had at his disposal then. We were seen as the Roosters and Manly of that time ....silver tails ....money ...it helps

    Cody Ramsey

Pity the fullback position has already been promised to two other players. Seems to have great strength for his frame and incredible pace.

    Great expectations

I think ultimately Ford is a season off making a huge impact for us. He lacks size and, although he has potential, will find it hard to be physically intimidating in the back row. Centre? Perhaps, but one intercept and a show of speed does not necessarily make him an outside back.

    Sign frizell now!!

Agree that if the length of the contract is the sticking point then we need to extend our offer, mind you Tyson has been used poorly by our esteemed coach and if Frizz is constantly asked to run the ball back into the middle his longevity might come into question. Fittler showed how and where...

    Sign frizell now!!

There is a rumour doing the rounds amongst some club members that if JBD returns Frizz will go. Frizz, supposedly, has been opposed to De Belin's involvement at training and is, allegedly, angry at Jack's behaviour, even if he is found not guilty of the serious charges. Frizz is a good family...

Signings for 2020 and future looking team

Have read in the media that he was prepared to stay at Saints and sign a three year contract. Apparently only a one year extension was offered and when Luc asked them to reconsider their stance the Club started offering him around. All of a sudden Luc wanted to leave. I sort of understand why he...

Signings for 2020 and future looking team

A great summary getsmarty. Well done. We are a disgrace at the moment. I don't think the club has been in a more demoralised state. I don't get it, I just don't get it. A coach with little success despite having a side half full of Origin stars is left in charge following numerous Club reviews...

True but that means another season of gloom and doom in 2020.

    One to watch: Jason Saab

Graham’s repeated head knocks are a worry. I think he should retire. As for JDB, innocent or guilty I don’t want him near the place. We will have him at training again next year, supposedly against the wishes of Frizz. I know the Club has to stand by him until things are resolved but he is not...

    The Rumours Thread

Packer went down hill because he was getting older and carried injuries, Luc is on the way up and is YOUNG!!!! I liked Trent but his best is behind him. Penrith unloaded him, Leeds are happy to let him go for Prior, yet we buy him and let a forward with unique skills go. Such a dumb move. I hope...

    Trent Merrin

Looking forward to the game when we have Merrin, Graham and Luke on the field at the same time. They nearly have 100 years between them. Red wine gets better with age, modern forwards unfortunately don’t. That said and done I wish Trent well.

    Latrell Mitchell

There is an assumption that he can get his head on straight. The Roosters don’t often let a player go unless there is something seriously wrong. Yep maybe the Chooks are prepared to call his bluff thereby driving the ultimate price they will pay for him down. As for him being able to play...

    Robert Stone Memorial Golf Day

I watched the 1977 grand final replay the other day. Often people talk about Reddy bashing Price and the Eels, but if you watch the first 10 minutes you see that Stone was a wrecking ball and one scrum that broke up with 10 minutes to go in the first half saw Stone belt the crap out of two Parra...
