Either works for me as long as we get some fu#king international RL!!! I like the idea of pools because you could have England in 1 pool and France in the other when the tournament is held in Europe and Australia in 1 pool and NZ in the other when the tournament is held down under.

    WA BEARS

Dolphins are going to be placed near the bottom end of the competition ladder in the first 2-3 years judging by the squad they are assembling but unless they are playing in front of sub 10k crowds then this shouldn’t be a problem.

    2 pools of 3?

Cool. terrible as in on the field performance or off the field?

    PNG's back.

Dolphins are a asset rich Queensland based side in a rugby league mad area with huge investment.

    PNG's back.

And that’s even before you factor in things like PNG being a 3rd world country, high crime rates, hardly any NRL standard kumul players, heavy reliance on overseas players and potential political instability etc.

    PNG's back.

No. What more would a PNG nrl franchise offer than the hunters playing in the Queensland cup?

    Yes. Exactly.

    PNG's back.

In true RL fashion each of the 3 bids have major flaws that could potentially harm the future prospects of all 3 teams. If you had the fanaticism of the PNG supporters and the talent pool of New Zealand combined with the wealthy financial support of Perth you’d potentially have a ”super club”...

The Game Future NRL Stadiums part II

Aren’t the sharks a very wealthy and asset rich club what with all the developments going on around the stadium? If so this would make them(sharks) even more harder to boot out of the competition you would have thought. same goes for the manly sea Eagles who are redeveloping brookvale oval and...

    International Calendar..

Why or why did the powers that be get rid of the 4nations? I really liked that concept of end of season tournament and thought it had the potential to be really huge for international RL with it being alternated between Europe and Australasia. Staged in Europe. England, France, NZ and...

    PNG's back.

Exactly. one team based in Port Moresby and the second team based in Lae with both teams running u18&u20 youth grade sides. Ideally Both teams would also be partnered with NRL teams preferably Queensland based NRL teams. Great opportunity for the dolphins?

    PNG's back.

The PNG hunters playing in Queensland cup tick all the boxes for the development of RL in that country without any need of awarding a potentially risky and wasted NRL franchise spot to that country. There are far more pressing and deserving bids/options before PNG.
