    yes, for a service with a subscription audience of less than 1mill its on par. Fox group has 4.7mill subscribers in Australia and pays around three times that for NRL.

    the 2018-22 deal was announced at $1.9bill ish or an avg of $380mill a year. You can see by NRL accounts the media revenue (cash and contra) in 2018 was $341.5mill and 2019 $349.1mill. No where near what was announced.

    Sometimes, other times not. It may be they are basically loaning the money to the club owners (those on the board), not owning the club themselves per se. Some investments are for equity share, some are for debt repayment.
