    2024 Pacific Championships - 18 Oct to 10 Nov

His head looks like he's been drinking Chinese baby formula

    Ashes Talk

At least we'll be up 4-0 before the Sydney test washes out

your ideal fixtures for Round 1 2025

It's an absolute waste (and boring) us constantly playing in Round 1 or 2, and then Round 26 or 27. As you said play them when otherwise a lower crowd would be expected (Round 10 and 20, for example).

    Rumoured Signings

That's far too logical for our current recruitment team.

    2024 PM's XIII - Sun 13 Oct - PNG v AUS @ Port Moresby

AUS definitely shouldn't be allowed to use more than 17 players like this.

    2024 PM's XIII - Sun 13 Oct - PNG v AUS @ Port Moresby

I'd love to sit in a PNG footy crowd one day. Seems awesome.

    Melbourne "No Try"

Definitely agree with this. The awarding/removal of try farce aside, just send it up as a try, a no try, or "unsighted".

    Melbourne "No Try"

There's absolutely no guarantee we beat you even playing differently. I just would've liked to see us adapt, somewhat.

    Melbourne "No Try"

They just need to pick one. Trying to stay as neutral as possible here... playing a 204-game season under one set of ruck/10m management rules, then a 9-game finals series under something completely different... I don't like it. Now not being neutral, it frustrates me that it took 1...

    The Desolation of Smug

Leadership vacuums are a massively overlooked trapping for clubs. At least yours retired because he wanted to be able to still put coherent sentences together when he's older. We sent ours to Brisbane to revive a club and play another Grand Final.

    2024 GF | PREMIERS - Penrith 14-6 Melbourne @ Accor

Lots of talk about how the past 8 years have been dominated by 3 teams... One thing forgotten about St George's 11-in-a-row is that Souths won 5 of the 6 premierships preceding it, and 4 of the 5 premierships following it. From 1949 to 1971 (23 seasons!), either Souths or St George (or both)...

    Melbourne "No Try"

Weird/whinging for having a differing opinion? Penrith are Penrith and are the best because they grind their opposition down. They out bore you. They never stop tackling, never stop running, never stop chasing. For 80 mins, every week, for 5 years now. It's highly, highly effective and it's a...

    Melbourne "No Try"

I'm probably letting the 2nd half colour my opinion, and my constant want to tell Mat Thompson to STFU. I guess there were no real 'moments' in the game. It was just Penrith being Penrith - grounding down opposition to dust.

    Melbourne "No Try"

It was a nothing match. Your blokes just smothered them. Great if you're a Panthers fan but a whole lot of 'meh' otherwise - like 2022.

    Melbourne "No Try"

Honestly... noone is going to remember the 2024 GF other than it being the Panthers 4th prem in a row. It was an absolute nothing burger of a match.

    The Desolation of Smug

As long as they have Edwards, Cleary, Yeo, Martin etc fit when it matters, and the NRL continues to ignore ruck interference and inside 10m in big finals... the Panthers will likely still win the premiership.

    2024 GF | PREMIERS - Penrith 14-6 Melbourne @ Accor

I tell myself every year I don't care, then immediately switch off the coverage as soon as I see them celebrate...

    2024 GF | PREMIERS - Penrith 14-6 Melbourne @ Accor

More than 13 Panthers on the field before fulltime Strip them of the title lol
