    USA 2024

A split is disappointing, but not surprising. Utah were never going to just accept the USARL decision and the name calling from both sides has definitely aggravated the situation. Hopefully when tensions die down there can be a bit of olive branch extending so it's not a complete fracture. If...

    Bids tendered for 2030 RLWC.

Troy Grant outlined that 9s won't be at the Brisbane games because of costs. It's a shame, because as I read it, if the IRL actually had some coin and could underwrite that part of the Olympics, we'd be in as a medal sport.

    2024 Crowd Watch

Amazing job Gold Coast. I have to admit, I'm not sure why this happens, but for the third year in a row the club has drawn significantly more post Magic Weekend than pre. For this year the breakdown was: 5 Games for 66,992 (13,398 avg) 6 Games for 111,657 (18,610 avg) I know the club had the...

    2024 Crowd Watch

If a club doesn't already have an attendance culture, I agree with you. Fans who would attend big games & when the team was doing well are unlikely to going to change their behaviour simply because of those other factors. If a club can capitalise on the good times, then you get scenarios like...

    2024 Crowd Watch

Storm finish the season with a 19,848 average at AAMI Park. Previous highest average at the ground was last year with 17,072. (Storm average in Melbourne last year was 18,264)

    2024 Crowd Watch

115,733 (23,146 average) from the first 5 games. Only need 44,267 from the last 3 to get to 160,000. Dragons should get 18,000ish, so hopefully Rabbitohs & Titans can get 26K combined.

    2024 Crowd Watch

Just had a look now, there is sub 2K tickets left on sale. Storm posted around midday saying last tickets available so surely has to be trending into 23K+ territory. Only game that I've seen move more this year was ANZAC Day which was 25K.

    2024 Crowd Watch

72,104 from first 3 games. Need 87,896 from the remaining 5 to finish with 20K average for the round, which will be a stretch, but possible. More likely to finish around 152K / 19K average.

Southern GA has just sold out at GIO Stadium in Canberra. Outside of Northern GA, lower bowl is now either sold out or down to single seats. Both Northern and Southern GA has sold out at AAMI Park in Melbourne. All lower bowl bays are now sold out or down to single seats. Hill now sold out...

    2025 NRL Jerseys, Sponsorship, Logos

Also another one announced earlier in the year Squadron Energy will move from the lower back position on the Dragons jersey in 2025, becoming the club's new 'major partner' (which I assume means front of jersey sponsor with St George Bank not renewing their agreement)...

    2025 NRL Jerseys, Sponsorship, Logos

Whilst it was announced months ago, it is relevant for this thread. James Hardie to replace Aland as the Eels front of jersey sponsor. Aland will remain on the upper back of the kit after renewing their overall sponsorship of the club for 3 years...

    2024 Crowd Watch

Current capacity is supposedly capped at 16,000 according to Richardson. The $40m upgrade will get it back up towards 19,000. Last night's crowd in previous years I'm sure would have been named around 13-14K.

    2024 Crowd Watch

Level 2 North Bays - 220, 221, 225, 226 & 227 have already been put on sale for the inaugural Emergency Services match on September 1. Roosters have also started marketing the match via social ads and even telegraph poles around Darlinghurst. I had expected this match to get 20K+, just because...
