    Round 6 - Bulldogs vs Rabbitohs: Friday 7th April 4:05pm @Accor Stadium

How good was Hame Sele?! That's why i wasn't too concerned about the last couple weeks. We're still getting troops back and the draw is opening up for us. While i acknowledge it was against a depleted Dogs team, we started the season depleted against top opposition and never came close to being...

    Round 5 - Rabbitohs vs Storm: Friday 31st March 8pm @Accor Stadium

It's been a frustrating start to the season but i didn't see the game being as bad as others seem to have. My biggest gripe from it is the same gripe I've had for the past season and a bit now - we should've let Cody leave instead of Reynolds. Ilias is being asked to lead the team around the...

    2023 Round 3 - Roosters vs Rabbitohs: Friday 17th March 8pm @Allianz Stadium

If Allianz is a road game, then every game is a road game for us. It's 15 minutes from our training base! Not leaving Sydney isn't comparable to US road games. I agree that it's a tough draw to start the season but it's hardly a death sentence.

    2023 Round 3 - Roosters vs Rabbitohs: Friday 17th March 8pm @Allianz Stadium

As frustrating as the last two weeks have been, we've had opportunities to snatch them both late. If we turn up for majority of the 80 minutes we win them both comfortably. Sort the simple errors out and we'll go on a roll. We lost that game ourselves last night. Can't moan about officials when...

    2023 Round 2 - Panthers vs Rabbitohs: Thursday 9th March 8pm @BlueBet Stadium

5 days ago we played 60 minutes with 1 forward on the bench and i thought it showed. We looked heavy legged with half of our pack missing. Last nights game says more about Penrith's credentials this season than ours IMO. They dominated us for 75 minutes and it almost went to extra time. The...

    3rd Test: Australia v South Africa @ SCG Jan 4-8, 2023

Plus both Warner and Khawaja won't be around for much longer so it wouldn't hurt to get Renshaw back in the mix when opportunities arise.

    3rd Test: Australia v South Africa @ SCG Jan 4-8, 2023

If Agar is the second best spinner in Australia then we may as well use Head as the second spin option and pick another batsman.

2023 Rabbitohs Rumors, Signings and News

Best case, Sam is "clean and sober" and was still caught driving while his licence was suspended as a result of a previous DUI conviction. I love Sam the footballer but even if sober, his decision to drive was dumb

Reflections on WC and the future

Really, a play-in round would be glorified qualifiers but being a part of the WC will potentially give it more coverage and interest from some of the lower nations who would otherwise get thumped in each group game.

2023 Rabbitohs Rumors, Signings and News

BTW, I've recently been told a week or so ago by someone I've come to know recently who is somewhat close to Trell that he is only in discussions with Souths and will eventually re-sign. Uncertainty around the salary cap for the coming seasons is delaying the final deal being put together. This...

    1st Test: Australia v South Africa @ Gabba Dec 17-21, 2022

We haven't beaten Saffa in a home series for about 15 years, mostly because they don't rollover for a tummy tickle when they visit like a lot of other test nations do. This series could be the same. If Smith and Marnus don't fire, we'll be in trouble.

Reflections on WC and the future

I feel it'd be cool to have a 'play-in' round similar to what the recent T20 WC had to give some of the weaker nations an opportunity to pick up a few wins.

    2023 Rabbitohs Pre-Season

DT didn't need to make metres though, we had 3 Burgii for that. His job was to minimise the amount of grit work the brothers had to do by making his tackles and taking the tough carries while earning very little in comparison. He absolutely was a contributer of that successful pack and deserves...

    2023 Rabbitohs Pre-Season

DT played the most games that season, missed the fewest tackles and committed the fewest errors. Sure he wasn't glamorous but to exclude him as a part of the comps best pack that year is f**king ludicrous.

He did play for GWS so that would explain a lot of them

2023 Rabbitohs Rumors, Signings and News

The only club in the current salary cap era that has had sustained success by buying players is Easts and even then, they've yoyo'd over the past decade. Stability breeds success and having a production line of talent coming through the club to fill gaps will be more sustainable than signing...
