4 into 2 doesn't go. After PNG which two will make up the 20?!

Scientists should actually study Perth Red. A while ago he actually had cancer but then the cancer started killing itself. Even cancer didn't want to spend any time stuck with that miserable twat.

2024 TV and Streaming Ratings Discussion

Subscriber numbers are the fundamental factor as to whether or not a streaming service lives or dies. And if you don't have the big content carrots to attract subscribers, you don't have a service. Sport and branded IP content are big carrots. AFL and NRL are big carrots. And yes if you're...

    PNG's back.

PNG is a developing country. There's no pretending otherwise. But unless you've been there, you don't really know what it's like. That area near the waterfront wouldn't be out of place in a town like Cairns. Where do you guys think all the civil servants and foreigners eat and stay? In shanties?

    PNG's back.

All of those are legitimate concerns. There's a supermarket literally across the road from the site that I pointed out. This is a list of the nearby embassies nearby. All their families go around these areas without many problems.

    18th club, whose next?

If the business cases and government support are all there, it wouldn't surprise me if PVL announced 3 teams, with staggered entry over multiple years. He doesn't strike me as somebody who would turn down solid investments, if they are legitimate of course.

    PNG's back.

I'm not surprised that the NRL is pushing for the stadium and compound. I've said it myself multiple times. And this is where I would put it: This is the marina and embassy district so there are armed security personnel all over the place. That's actually the US Embassy above the field. The...

Financial Incentive To Relocate A Sydney Team

The Sharks should split their games between Cronulla and Gosford. They're going to get left behind if they remain just a Sydney club.

    2024 Crowd Watch

Between both their areas the population is roughly 500-600k. And people are arguing that they can't draw 15k. That's the equivalent of 0.0025% of their local populations and 0.00025% of Sydney's total population. When they're both on the top of the ladder. Penrith have shown that they can...

    2024 Crowd Watch

Sure but it's going to be bad publicity for the game and I care about the game, not what benefits one individual club. The only thing the NRL has going for them is that there's no fumbleball in Sydney that week. If there was I'd have no doubt that GWS would hand out a bunch of freebies just to...

    2024 Crowd Watch

This will 100% be in the papers this week. If I were the NRL, I would have paid the Sharks to move the game. 12k at Cronulla will be pathetic. 15k at SFS would be pathetic. It's a top of the table clash featuring 2 Sydney teams. Anything under 20k is an absolute joke.

    2024 Crowd Watch

Two top 4 teams from 2023. Now Top 2 in 2024. Playing in front of 12,000. And nobody thought in advance how bad a look for the game that will be.

Next TV deal discussion 2028 -

Agreed. Content is king. A lot of fans will watch women's and men's games of their own club back to back. Suddenly, you turn a 2 hour viewer into a 4 hour viewer. As to where the slots go, it will depend on the slots that the mens comp takes up in the next broadcast deal. But I'd love to see...

15 new pages today. Was it a productive day fellas? Did you meet your Rugby League forum post KPIs? Did anyone convince anyone of anything? For what it's worth, my Copper ETFs hit their 33% return threshold today. Good times!

    Your NRL controversial take

As long as you don't put the receiver in a dangerous position you should be able to contest a ball that it's in the air whilst the receiver is leaping off the ground. It should be a proper contest. 40/20's should be allowed at any part of the field, as long as the ball lands in the opposition...

    18th club, whose next?

He's bitched endlessly about the idea of the Perth Bears for years. I'm sure that Perth Red and yourself will be very happy together. Just don't expect to see him at any Perth games.
