The Game Future NRL Stadiums part II

I Is that right? Are those two red brick apartment blocks on the corner of Gerrale St and Surf Ln knocked over yet? Wouldn’t want to live anywhere else in Sydney.

The Game Future NRL Stadiums part II

Really needs a stadium upgrade though. Facilities there are as poor as you will find in Australian professional sport. The club seems to have a pretty solid board of late. Something they’ve missed for a long long time.

The Game Future NRL Stadiums part II

Yeah, what a great idea. Let’s be relocating a club which is the sole top division professional sports team in a district which has one of the highest (if not still the highest) rates of junior and senior sports participation in the country, which is delivering a strategy to dramatically grow...

The Game Future NRL Stadiums part II

That’s probably the most narrow minded comment I have heard from anyone. Typical it came from a Parramatta fan, one of the largest population centres in Sydney. So you basically want the NRL to force the Sharks, Sea Eagles and Tigers to relocate and lose hundreds of thousands of fans. That is...

The Game Future NRL Stadiums part II

Will it? The ground isn’t getting any update, just the surroundings. Has potential, but needs a whole lotta spend. I think the spend would be worth it. The NRL need Cronulla to cement itself into that huge precinct and growingly affluent Sutherland peninsula much like a Geelong in AFL.

The Game Future NRL Stadiums part II

Sharkies would do well to hear that advice I don’t think covered stands are much of a requirement in Port Moresby. The climate is fairly dry due to the city’s location and ticket prices will inevitably have to be cheap- much better to spend any upgrade money on larger, uncovered stands...

    18th club, whose next?

T The performance of an underwhelming club in Australia’s most underwhelming professional sports competition which is stuck behind a paywall is not a good indicator of future performance of a new club in a sport which is featured three nights a week on FTA tv.

    Another Second Tier

My idea was primarily to set up a legacy for what RL can mean for people growing up in Tonga and Samoa, long before families move to NZ. Those who do move to NZ will be covered off by two or three NZ second tier teams, the Tongan and Samoan based squads would be creating a home grown culture...

    18th club, whose next?

I don’t think SL or the RFL have two pennies to rub together do they? I doubt there is anything more they can do than dream. It’s not like they’ve shown any ability to capitalise on anything over the last 25/30 years anyway.

    18th club, whose next?

I am sure it will be. It will be a waste of time if it’s not based out of Port Moresby. Not that a Moresby club will be admitted anyway.

    18th club, whose next?

True, and that lack of readily available production line of elite Rugby talent is one of the key benefits NZII has over Perth.

    18th club, whose next?

What bid? There is no bid.

    18th club, whose next?

Perth would have plenty to sell aspiring and champion RL players. Weather Easy lifestyle Hot sheilas and sunsets Great education and medical Cheaper housing Very family friendly Get the facilities right and Perth would have heaps going for it.

    18th club, whose next?

What bid are you talking about? There is no PNG bid, just a few off the cuff comments with no substance at all. PNG will not happen. Put your energy into something else.

Lik Like I said. Is there the same issue with Cowboys, Storm? It’s not like those teams are full of locals either.

    Only a potato wouldn’t.

    18th club, whose next?

I don’t think anything you have said here is accurate or of relevance. Comparing Perth grassroots against one of the largest and best RL grassroots areas in the country is strange. Further still, CS Sharks area is potentially still the largest junior sports participation region in the country...

    RLWC 2021 Profits?

It would be a shame for Quarter Finalists Lebanon not to get a look in in front of many of those.

Fiji Rugby League - Vodafone Super 8

Looks like a very evenly matched league. Would be great if one of these were televised in Fiji live each week.
