    Is it any wonder we are an inconsistent team when we rely so heavily on Hunt as our playmaker? He has always been a rocks or diamonds type player and you can put Sloan in that category as well although in his defence, he’s still a work in progress.

    I thought we played well in patches but our lazy defenders got exposed and they scored as a result. Poor last tackle options. We seemed to shut up shop in the second half with ball. DCE showed why he is the number 2 halfback in the comp. Reads the game like a coach.

    I’d rather see our SOO boys rested this week. They’ll be sore and sorry only 2 days after the match and we’ll get better value with the same team that beat the Panthers last week. If we can play like we did in the second half we could rack up a score here.

    Great post! Ideally you’d have another hooker start for the softening up period and bring on Liddle to spark some attack through the middle with Sloan pushing up from the back.
