    Bit hard DD. The players we have that are not NRL standard just doesn’t include with ball in hand , it’s their inability to stick to defense structures and make bloody one on one tackles. When our squad is top 6 quality but still iffy in defence than Young will deserve every criticism levelled...

    How about we let him have the off season he needs to build his body & mind before we make this rash decision. Only an idiot would not see his improvement this year in the hardest position on the field. He also will thrive behind our new recruitment which I hope hasn’t finished yet.

    Yes, the only explanation for me is we have some nibbles in trying to offload Cake so it would counteract these negotiations in not presenting him as a current NRL player. Or am I reading too much into this or wishful thinking?
