    Klemmer is a good defender (statistically). That aside, in 20 games in 2024 he made 15 line breaks and 5 offloads. Blake Lawrie in 20 games, 11 line breaks and 3 offloads. F Molo, 23 games, 12 line breaks, 7 offloads. May is the gold standard. In 27 games he made 64 breaks and 40 offloads...

    For the next one or two years, JDB will be a prop. By 2026 Toby will be a seasoned prop and will be joined by LPT. But we might get another one in the market in that time. Of course there are still Lawrie, Fifita and the Molos but they aren't setting the world on fire. Maybe a prop from the UK?

    This says it all. Bad incentives. So if Klemmer just exerts himself in the first half of the season, he can get into his rocker-recliner for the rest of the season and still get big $ for 2026? Alternatively, if a young prospect comes along to promote to that prop position for 2026, the tigers...
