Suli is not the brightest bloke to walk the earth Think he may have been trying to say I didn’t want to leave Sydney, rather than I didn’t want to go to STGI

    Dragons V Sharks Round 4

I was surprised at Liddle’s lack of fitness. Definitely not an 80 minute player. Bird and Lomax currently adding nothing. Looking at our 30 man squad, we barely have 20 average players to choose from. The players looked emotionally drained. Five hit ups and a kick down the throat of the...

    The Rumours Thread

You can’t blame Sloan for being obstructed on the try Cronulla scored on the bomb. He strips a big forward and saves a try. Rava’s lack of speed is of greater concern. As was the ease in which our forwards were manhandled. Cronulla was too big and fast overall and dominated us in the tackle.

    Time to restructure the JV

Ladies and Gentlemen It is abundantly clear that the club is on the road to nowhere under the current administration structure. The options available are: 1. An independent professional organisation buy out both sides; 2. One side buys out the other; 3. The current parties agree to amend...

    Sack Griffin

The consensus is Hook needs to go Timing is important End of last season was obviously preferable however that would have meant paying him out. The board should never have extended his contract. That said, now that Hook has nothing left to lose he will play the young players.

Interesting suggestion by Kent that Griffin won’t reapply for the job.

    Dragons v Broncos Rd 3 2023

Sullivan 7 Hunt 6 Amone 14 goes to 6, Hunt goes to 9 to give Liddle a 20-30 minute rest

    Dragons v Broncos Rd 3 2023

We know Liddle is injury problem so I am happy with a hooker rotation. Mbye is a solid player but isn’t going to test the defence of the opposition. I would not carry him on the bench. In my view Amone can cover multiple positions in the backline, so he could slip into 6 when Liddle is off...

    Dragons v Broncos Rd 3 2023

First 30-35 minutes of the game we played with energy and made limited mistakes. Too many mistakes, wrong options, poor refereeing calls in the second half eventually brought us undone. very happy overall with the performance of Sloan and Sullivan. Agree with other forum members that 2 of the...
