    Tyrell Signs

Hang in there Mate. I had a break, it worked for me. i thought I might just find another hobby/sport to follow. I honestly put a lot of effort in trying to be an English premier league supporter, still might but I haven’t tried hard enough cos I’m back. I’m blaming the forum just quietly...

    Tyrell Signs

When I look at most of the NRL teams I find their starting backlines pretty much pick themselves and bar one or two variations are pretty much set in stone. For me I’m interested to see how things pan out for the Dragons. For me there’s still much confusion on what our best backline is. What...

    Corey Norman??

I’d agree, I’d not like to purge too many forwards perhaps only 2 With 8 off contract; Ford Lovodua Graham Host Kerr Luke Frizell JDB? (6 minus Frizell & JDB up in the air) If we assume we lose Graham and a Luke to retirement, leaving 4 to consider In order of my preference I’d resign 1st...

    Corey Norman??

I definitely wouldn’t rush to sign any of the five you listed. I’d also take this season as an opportunity to look long and hard look at all the others off contract, with the exception of Friz, who needs to be resigned ASAP and same for JDB (pending court outcome) The position we are in with...

    Corey Norman??

Well Possum those five are off contract , they’re not the only ones - [JDB] Host, Kerr, Frizzel, Rav, Jackson and a few others so in a sense the club is in a position to purge, in a position to put players on notice, in a position to really shake things up, so you never know.

    Corey Norman??

I really hope we are right. Im keeping all 11 fingers and all 13 toes crossed. I’ve already consumed way more than my share of humble pie supporting this team and tbh it’s taking a heavy toll on my waist line.

    Corey Norman??

Don’t get me wrong Its reasonable enough what you say, but the problem is if I agree with your post am I resigning myself to the fact our play makers are duds and therefore we will have another disastrous season? Last season was bad enough, Na ah ah. Im atleast starting off positive. I see...

    Corey Norman??

Yep I also see this to be the case. If playing to their potential the difference between winning and losing is the clutch plays. It’s when the marque players (Norman being one) justify their marque wages and deliver the goods. Time for ours to deliver.

    Corey Norman??

Agree 100% that Norman looks to be Just going through the motions, It is certainly demeanour but I suspect both Norman and Hunt do have another level in them and in the right environment I think they could deliver in the big games providing they take ownership and equally important get the...

    Corey Norman??

Well Crush, I think it’s fair to say that ones more than speculation. There has been speculation that a bad apple can spoil the crop or atleast affect it in a bad way, but I’m looking to positives as from round one we are equal with the leaders.

    Corey Norman??

Not sure Frank Facer is saying that, I feel he is making a point. I think he is saying that the party hard players can often perform on the field. I’m sure Johns is not the only living example of this. I also agree with this, it’s only my opinion, but if I was to single out one deficiency in...

    Brayden Williame

You could be right jeopardising good money and success by leaving the Roosters appears ludicrous. Then again I suspect that most, (including the media) are not privy to what really goes on with players contracts, He may end up signing a long term contract with a huge third party arrangement...

    Brayden Williame

My views are that Mitchell’s mental state is fine. I think he has a big ego and like a high percentage of modern day players realise how important it is to maximise his earnings especially when their in career best form. I think it was harsh his demotion in Origin but I suspect his personality...

    Brayden Williame

Dragsters comments describe Mary to a tee. [His] “Delusional denial by way of using small victories to justify horrendous errors of judgement...” More and more after listening to successful coaches I hear them angrily voicing their dissatisfaction if their team loses or even after win where...

    TOP FOUR BOTTOM FOUR 2020

Storm Roosters Rabbits Raiders 3rd and 4th will be close with Many or the Parra being in the mix also Tigers Dragons Titans Warriors I’m trying hard to be positive about the dragons, but the best I could muster up is they’ll improve by one spot from last season. Of course Souths...

    Trent Merrin

From memory Korbin not Tariq was more so used as a prop rotation, but Tariq could of had a few games there. Im hoping Merrin is bought as a prop rotation but in the ESL footage I’m sure he was wearing number 11. I think most agree we have a good lot of backrowers.

    One to watch: Jason Saab

Me to, he seems to be a humble and level headed young man with some purposeful goals. Hopefully he remains injury free and continues to strengthen his body as I believe he could become a real potent winger. I feel we may just need to be a little patient before we see his best.

    Corey Norman??

It’s one way to increase his involvement and inject himself into the game.

    Trent Merrin

I’m ok with this. I think Merrin will be very consistent over the next two years. Likewise I think LL will be equally good for the Tigers. Also given that LL was leaving in 2021 it makes better sense to send him now and fill the void with something near or near abouts and Merrins still quiet...
