100% wrong. Players and staff and club members definitely informed.

2020 Presidents Cup & Sydney Shield

You've obviously got some inside knowledge about the finances of these clubs. So what you are telling us is that these club's can close for 10 weeks and because they have "plenty of padding" they should be able to continue as before? Where do u obtain this information ?

2020 Presidents Cup & Sydney Shield

Are u serious ? Went from Toby getting 10 in the bin to Asquith getting a player sent off. Of course it played a part in the result.

2020 Presidents Cup & Sydney Shield

Maybe it's because the clubs don't know the correct PPIS points for each player because NSWRL haven't given the list ?

    St Mary's will be strong.

Sharkie doesn't get it wrong very often. I think you'll find Mike is at Asquith. Looks like Weisner has assembled a strong squad.

    You sure about that ?

What's your point. They beat Wyong in the 1st round.

2019 RM Cup & Sydney Shield

Asquith don't pay overs and stick to the salary cap and yet Pat can still get players to go there when other clubs are throwing big money around. There is a reason for that. Firstly he has created a great culture and players enjoy playing at Asquith. Secondly players that play under Pat improve...

Blacktown were good yesterday. Asquith were out enthused and struggled to make metres. Referee didn't let the game flow which suited Blacktown but they definitely deserved the win. I think Wests and Guildford are still a chance but Blacktown may have left their run a bit late.

Asquith and Wenty are both impressive and Mounties and St Mary's genuine top 4 runners. Outside that Wests or Guildford can perform . Maybe Cabra. The others are no chance.

For a bloke with that much ISP experience he certainly didn't stand out in the RMC games I saw him play.

2019 RM Cup & Sydney Shield

I think you'll find Honeti is/was a North Sydney contracted player that was dropping back to play with Asquith. If he's gone to Cabra Norths must have released him.

2019 RM Cup & Sydney Shield

The top 3 teams in Massey have a chance to create quite a buffer between themselves and the rest of the comp. If all 3 win they will be 4 points clear of the next team. Asquith will be desperate to stay in touch with top 4 by knocking off Wenty at home.

2019 RM Cup & Sydney Shield

In terms of the payments side of things it wasn't a case of Asquith just deciding to scrap the hobbyist system. That decision was in response to a rule introduced by the NSWRL that mandated that players had to be treated as employees and pay tax, receive medical benefits etc etc, Ridiculous...

2019 RM Cup & Sydney Shield

The players didn't leave mid- season or anything like that. They just didn't come back the next year.

Nothing wrong with the surface at Storey Park. It's actually pretty good. It's just the facilitiies that could do with an update.

2019 RM Cup & Sydney Shield

Or maybe the other teams just don't like the reception they get from the friendly crowd ! Storey Park meets requirements otherwise NSWRL wouldn't allow games there. Ever been to Lionel Watts ? Pat Weisner has recruited very well and I hear good things from several players. I hope they give it...

2019 RM Cup & Sydney Shield

Asquith has recruited really well. Very strong in the forwards. This year for the 1st time they are getting all Norths ISP excess players instead of sharing with other clubs. Asquith also have 2 of their contracted players playing ISP at Norths. Not sure if they'll be able to match it with the...

2019 RM Cup & Sydney Shield

Glebe v Asquith was tougher than the score would suggest. Glebe didn't execute as well as Asquith. Asquith took advantage of an early lead and were never headed. It's early days and Glebe have the squad to go on with it so wouldn't read to much into it. Glebe had a couple of ISP players drop...
