    It was a fine signing on the face of it - until I learned how much we were paying him. I mean, someone said somewhere that Jackson is getting paid like 100k less than Jarome Hughes. Even under the best case scenario, that's outrageous.

    All we need now is the winner of the Broncos/Dolphins game next week to lose their last game, and the Dragons to drop 1 more. And, obviously, win our remaining 2. So 2 more results to sweat on and the rest is irrelevant from what I can see.

    We need the Dragons to drop 2 of their remaining 3 games and Brisbane to drop a game to have the honor of being knocked out in week 1. The Dragons have an easy draw and have been playing better footy than us, so it'll require a pretty big choke for mine.

    I wouldn't say his output over the past 3 odd years has been a pass mark. More accurate to say they can plod along because they're hoovering up all of our cap money designated for front-rowers, and as a result there's no-one left at the club who can push them to perform.

    I dunno about half, but since he got tapped on the shoulder there has been an uptick for sure. Funny that... as soon as his form might affect his wallet it picked up a lot.
