Rumoured and Confirmed signings - Part 4

    Sadly true.

I am not fussed on Walker either, but I was hoping for a few decent signings. I will be annoyed if Glenn is signed and Ivan plays him in the centres.

Rumoured and Confirmed signings - Part 4

I don't know but I am starting to get the feeling we will be underwhelmed with who comes.

Rumoured and Confirmed signings - Part 4

Penrith are considering a bid to lure Alex Glenn to the foot of the mountains as they desperately try to add some leadership to their young pack. Despite Broncos coach Anthony Seibold admitting last month the club had offered Glenn a two-year contract extension, the 31-year-old remains without...

Rumoured and Confirmed signings - Part 4

Michael Chammis on NRL.com hints the Sharks may even move on Fifita to create space. The Sharks have insisted Graham is off-limits, despite their need to shed players after bringing Jesse Ramien back to the club. However, the Sharks will consider releasing a host of other big-name players if...

Rumoured and Confirmed signings - Part 4

I agree. I think we had interest in both until other parties drove up the price. Maybe the other suitors drop off a target we are serious for, or they have to release someone to make salary cap space - then we strike.

Rumoured and Confirmed signings - Part 4

From the Western Weekender. * The Panthers have reportedly pulled out of negotiations with Tiger Ryan Matterson and the Broncos Jack Bird.

Rumoured and Confirmed signings - Part 4

Rising young Penrith hooker Wayde Egan is in the sights of the New Zealand Warriors, with the club showing the young number nine their facilities this week in a bid to lure him over the Tasman. With the impending arrival of experienced Sea Eagles hooker Api Koroisau, the Panthers have informed...

    2019 Discussion

Maybe he went over there before his surgery? I don't know the date of his surgery or when he went to NZ. I believe Brent Read reported there were pictures of him over there. I have learnt one thing here with rumours. When they keep coming up - they usually turn out to be true.

Egan was allegedly spotted touring the Warriors set up last week. The rumour on Hetherington is that he has changed his mind and for the moment is staying. I would like to keep both too.

I would agree with that. No point getting rid of Whare if we just have one experienced centre coming in. Let Naden and Crichton surpass him - then move him on.

Put a line through Chambers. He has been linked with a move to rugby.

Frizzel has been rumoured to had a tiff with Mcgregor and may want out of the Dragons. He would be a good pickup.

Rumoured and Confirmed signings - Part 4

No to Chambers. He has reached his peak and his slide this year has been evident.

Rumoured and Confirmed signings - Part 4

Possibly. Given the recent sex tape scandal and vandalisation of a team-mates car, maybe they want some old farts in the squad to quell the puerile behaviour.

    2020 Top 30

I can't edit the first post so I will update instead. I thought it would be a good idea to keep an eye on how our squad will be filled in the coming months. There is still plenty of time over the coming months to sign players and promote from within but this is the current top 30 for next...

Rumoured and Confirmed signings - Part 4

Arrow would be great but suspect it would be a bidding war. I also think if we are getting JWH who are the Roosters signing to replace him? It would have to be someone decent their end. Maybe Arrow is going there?

I agree on that point. I am sick of those teams up there every year. Though I am not cheering for the Eels!

    Former Panthers in the NRL

I would agree Cleary's ability as a coach is questionable. When fit Blake is an attacking weapon. Ivan is not an attacking coach. Unless Barrett is going to change things up next year to address the attacking shortcomings? I have my doubts Ivan's coaching would have got the best out of Blake...

    Former Panthers in the NRL

Another thing we need to consider with Blake in the whole upgrade/downgrade debate. If he stayed could Ivan have gotten the best out of him? Whatever happen behind closed doors in the off season Blake certainly struggled to adapt under Ivan's style early on. Switching sides and moving him away...
