    I agree, that's why I said it's the norm. I'm more talking about the 4 or 5 players being shopped around. Each with a couple of years left on their contract & staple members of the side that apparently underperformed.

If he managed the players as badly as you've said, why aren't all these players performing better at other clubs/coaches or performing better under Cleary? Simple fact is, the best most of them have played was under Griffin despite what they may have...

    I think they did hire Seibold to install a brand new attitude in the club & take the club in another direction. So you're right, probably not a re-build but i think it's a different situation to ours. 4 or 5 players under long term contracts, that's a re-build or at least a major renovation...

    I don't think there's much opportunity for that 4th prop irrespective of who it is. Tamou, JFH, RCG all play big minutes, leaves very little for the 4th one.

    How good was M Jennings coming through the grades though. Granted I haven’t seen anything of Crichton but Jennings consistently ripped sides apart. Better then any kid I’ve seen.

    I’d love to see Sele in the 17 somewhere & Aekins at centre, but not sure you change a thing to the 17. I don’t have an issue with not using Luai, I didn’t see the need for it & neither did Cleary. Using the whole 17 for the sake of using 17 seems pointless.

    The fact Wighton was even in the side to start was ridiculous. Yeh he’s been decent this year but I don’t think a month of good footy in 3 years warrants a spot, nor should you be rewarding a bloke that bashed a few guys in the street for no reason just 6 months ago.
