    Round 24 V The Warriors

I read when he first got the Panthers and he was playing terribly he wouldn't go out in the city out of embarrassment. Ciraldo's big thing is he's a people person. Maybe he's getting the best out of Tamou because an encouraging coach is the type of coach Tamou needs like Soward did.

    Round 24 V The Warriors

I'd back Egan to play 80 tbh.

Rumoured and Confirmed signings - Part 4

You can't blame your team mates when you kick it out on the full, fail to find touch off a penalty, throw a forward pass, don't put your body on the line in defense, etc. He'll either show up and have a blinder or do that kinda stuff all game.

Rumoured and Confirmed signings - Part 4

On his day Taylor is definitely the better player but Cleary is miles more consistent so in the short term I'd rather have Cleary in the team. No doubt Taylor's got the ability but there's a good chance he'll end as another half who never achieves his potential.

Rumoured and Confirmed signings - Part 4

Just to clarify I'm not saying Cleary won't develop into a player similar to Cronk but I wouldn't bet 1 million+ of our cap in the hopes of that. If it comes to that I'd rather let him go and use that money to lure down Tapau and something else. Move Maloney to halfback and Laui to *second...

Rumoured and Confirmed signings - Part 4

I think part of the reason Merrin has fallen so far below being an Australian prop is because acceleration for a guy his size was his biggest strength. Acceleration starts to drop in your late 20's whereas strength starts to drop around the age of 40. Part of it, no doubt his weight but I don't...

Looked very shaky against the Knights but I still think we're going to win the comp. No team has ever won it in our situation but I believe we'll win the NSW Cup and be the first team to win the Interstate Cup back to back.

Round 2 3Vs Knights Saturday 18th August 3pm Panthers Stadium

There were a number of times where we had numbers or were playing against defense sliding backwards and May didn't pass the ball.

Round 2 3Vs Knights Saturday 18th August 3pm Panthers Stadium

I'm not saying he played bad. I'll reiterate. In the second half we were on the their goal line for ages. You'd expect one of the halves to produce something when you have the ball in your opponent's 20 for that long. Again I'm not saying Cleary played bad, just didn't step up.

Round 2 3Vs Knights Saturday 18th August 3pm Panthers Stadium

In the first half, yes but we had plenty of opportunities in the second half. There was a period where we had possession on their goal line for quite awhile and came up with no points.

I mean he's on his way to being a better version of Pearce. When you hand out big money to a young half you pay for potential after all.

Round 2 3Vs Knights Saturday 18th August 3pm Panthers Stadium

Atm Cleary looks like a better version of Pearce. He's tries hard but he just doesn't have those creative plays in him come crunch time like Maloney does. There's something to be said for being Mr consitency and never playing terribly but if Clearly wants a million a season we should let him...

Round 2 3Vs Knights Saturday 18th August 3pm Panthers Stadium

Something I noticed is that ever since Peach went to fullback we've been caught out down the short side a lot not due to poor defensive decisions or offloads but simply not having the numbers. It's the fullback's job to organize those numbers to make sure it's even.

I think Gus gave up on his this year before he sacked Griffin due to the starts we kept giving away post Origin under him. Just the way he's talking when he's asked about our premiership chances this year he kept deflecting the question.

I thought in our loss to the Sharks we played really well too. Came within a half opportunity of wining.

Round 2 3Vs Knights Saturday 18th August 3pm Panthers Stadium

Nah, we were getting penalized for leaving the line quickly far to much. If this was true we would have had no line at all.

Round 2 3Vs Knights Saturday 18th August 3pm Panthers Stadium

Tanou really looked like he gave a f**k. I think Ciraldo's really getting the best out of him. Leota played well for the first time since coming back from injury.

Round 2 3Vs Knights Saturday 18th August 3pm Panthers Stadium

To me it looked we were and have been trying to hard in general. In regards to specifics it looks like Tyrone May just didn't pass enough. IMO he's always looked like a backrower who has enough skill to be a stop gap 5/8. I saw some people say we'd do better with him in the team than we do with...

    General Discussion Thread

I'd like it. We play Melbourne in our last game of the regular season. It's notoriously hard to beat a team twice in two weeks. No one has ever done it, remember last year when Manly slaughtered us and we came back to beat them? Better we play them with that advantage then latter in the finals...
