    18th club, whose next?

The most obvious solution is a salary cap exemption portion: 10k per year in development salary cap exempt. You could probably extend that to entire careers , encouraging more local talent a 1 club players making the comp more tribal in general. To implement it though would have to be announced...

    2024 Crowd Watch

What bubble? Yes, very rare articles..and when they do.." AFL taking over in NSW and QLD" Of course the Storm get a small article every week.

They used to get big crowds for the big games but the scenario is completely different: cheap standing room tickets and poor television coverage.

    2024 Crowd Watch

It's the AFL's strategy to convince thier supporters that RL is dying, so not worth watching, that way they don't get curious about it. Most people here are convinced RL is dying and AFL is taking over. But still the Storm grows bigger every year...

I can vouch for this! I'm in Melbourne atm and was at a packed bar in North Fitzroy for the Lions v Geelong. It's was a full voice Fitzroy Lions crowd! I've met Swans supporters too.. South Melbourne.. still Swans supporters. It really proves how important the partnership between the Bears and...

A minnow that outrated the AFL in Australia.. the entire pacific and is played at a professional level across 4 countries. After our grand final, we'll be enjoying watching a sold out international vs NZ in Christchurch , a sold out international in Papua new Guinea ( the national sport there...

New Zealand 2 will deal a massive blow to NZ rugby

If it added up, the Storm would have done it by now.

New Zealand 2 will deal a massive blow to NZ rugby

I'm not totally sure the Storm think like that or focus on any particular area. I think they are 100% active and proactive on all front at all times! Never leave a stone unturned! I wouldn't be surprised if they're in negotiations with a lacrosse player in the Falkland Islands at this point...

    18th club, whose next?

Say what want about expansion but both those blokes have a very high rugby league IQ. people who dismiss either of those guys clearly aren't listening to what they are actually saying but simply dismiss them on face value, being props ect... which ironically is stupid.

New Zealand 2 will deal a massive blow to NZ rugby

You do realise that you're responding to someone who lives in Perth and from Hull that can't see any positives in the game outside those places? For future reference*

I think it will leave everyone gobsmacked when it turns out gobsmacked had the final say.

New Zealand 2 will deal a massive blow to NZ rugby

He doesn't get it. He doesn't know how to run at a hole, he wants the ball first. I'm even worried about him on the wing. Good fullback but also lack cohesion with the rest of the backline and on those shifts where a simple draw and pass or tap on might hinder the attack. I'd play him at 14...
