    Small men can execute tackles around the legs just as good as a bigger man. As long as they don't force their whole body weight on the attackers legs if both their feet leave the ground it's legal.

    I agree that NRL HQ have got plenty of them wrong. It will take time until they figure it out. I support them in trying to get rid of extremely dangerous tackles however

    Let me explain what a classic hip drop tackle is. If a defending players legs leaves the ground, and his whole body weight lands on the attacking players legs. That is a hip drop.     Yeah 100%. I have noticed this trend from the refs all season. Maam was a classic hip drop, Not to sure about Hass though.

    They have been very consistent sending people to the bin this year for hip drops. That was the clearest hip drop if ever I have seen one. Both feet of the defending player left the ground and his whole body weight dropped on to the attacking players legs

    Good news for the Eels is they lost in almost all the key stats. If they can even that out in the 2nd, get an early try then you never know. Having said that it's pouring and Brisbane are a 2nd half team. Brisbane should go on to win by 22 points at least
