2024 NRL GRAND FINAL: Penrith v Melbourne Oct 6th

Only took him 2 years to undo the mess Elliott left him. It can never be underestimated how f**king dire we were when he arrived.

2024 Grand final Panthers vs Storm

Katoa is scary good. We did a great job on him last night. I've been wrapped with Alamoti all year really the way he has improved. We got a bit of an appetiser in the Sharks game, but I seriously didn't see last night coming form him against a team of that quality. I said to my Dad last night...

    Cleary the goat

From a coaching perspective last night was a 25 out of 10. With hindsight he nailed the year, cruise as much as possible during the season and unleash when it matters. The dude clearly knows what he is doing, even if don't understand the plan sometimes.

2024 Grand final Panthers vs Storm

Have to say Ivan nailed it with the Sorro inclusion. He played fantasitic anyway, but having him allowed Garner to move wide when To'o went off was so good. Having a middle wider could have been dicey, not sure Storm had the juice at that stage to exploit it, but Ivan took it out of their hands.

    The Desolation of Smug

I haven't found it boring. Such a far cry from my early memory's of being a Panthers supporter in the Parra/Dogs era. Long may it continue.

    Melbourne "No Try"

Oh no, better give the trophy to the Storm, oh we cant. Carry on.

    2024 GF | PREMIERS - Penrith 14-6 Melbourne @ Accor

They executed it perfectly. The plan seemed to be to go harder at Harry than SLR and it got it done. Cant believe I got to witness something like this really. I'd rate it higher than my first root. This has also lasted somewhat longer than that did to be fair.

    2024 GF | PREMIERS - Penrith 14-6 Melbourne @ Accor

Apparently the image doing the rounds on facebook is doctored. Who knows really? What we saw in the coverage you couldn't overturn whichever way it was called. Kind of evens out the dodgy strip penalty in the lead up to the Grant try, although we should still have defended that. Ivans game...

2024 Grand final Panthers vs Storm

Wow. I was worried about our edges, but Tago and Alamoti were ridiculously good tonight.

2024 Grand final Panthers vs Storm

Given match fitness I'd start Garner. I guess we find out in about 24 hours.

2024 Grand final Panthers vs Storm

I'm warming to it tbh. As others have said we only really need a solid 20 to 25 minutes. If it keeps the middles away from an edge it's worth the risk.

I think you're onto something here. I'd probably watch that. Bloke looks like he would know a good pie.
