    Have to admit I was never a fan of the way Gutho carried on when he was at Parra with the Gutharena etc but geez I feel like Parra have really done the dirty on a player who was pretty much the heart of their team for the last 5 years or so. The game is becoming a very hard and cold business...

    His 2023 form was "better" but still below NRL standard. I'm still really nervous about our front rowers for '25. We miss the 8 again if we roll out the same front row next year, regardless of Gutherson, Holmes & Cook.

    Sad thing is that despite being a very polarising figure when he was here and having a bit of a reputation as playing better in rep teams than at club level, Trent was a much better all round player than the CHunt. Not even close actually.

    You do realise there is way more to a supposedly marquee halfback's game than a statistic like this that is overused and means far less then people think it does?     At the very worst Sullivan would be solid cover at 7, 6 & 9 if the Tiger are paying most of his salary. I still think he was horribly mismanaged by Griffin and his development might have turned out differently with a better coach. Also not convinced going to the Tigers was a wise move...

    I'm lukewarm on the Douehii rumour but I trust Flanno to slowly get our roster to the right place after the mess he inherited. Your point about Liddle is a good one - he has put together a good 3 uninterrupted seasons in a row now so sometimes all you need is luck to turn your way.

    Wayne seems quite ok with having Latrell in his team, who walked, let's say, a very similar "line".......just wasn't caught in the act by police....... It's interesting how much leeway the marquee players get......

    Yeah I heard a rumour he'd been spotted in New Zealand yesterday. Can't believe there were a few people on here thinking we should sign him. Has always looked deadset average when I've watched GC games.
