    I'd take Thurston over Johns every day of the week. Never saw Billy play. Is there a "modern" player whose style was similar to his so I can get an idea of what kind of player he was?

    I agree he'd be a good addition to our squad. At the right price and in the right position. He did add some zip last night off the bench. He's not what I'd call a marquee signing though. As they said in Life Of Brian, he's not the messiah!!

    No but he's played a handful of good games in a team with one of the NRL's best spines and rosters to help him so all the people who constantly whinge we're not signing any players think we should offer him $1,000,000 and build a team around him and offer him the halfback job. :rolleyes:
