    OT: Current Affairs and Politics

The defense of Trump invariably becomes an exercise in whataboutism, rarely a defense of his actions. Probably because most people regardless of their allegiances can look at the guys history and see he really is a shit merkin.

    Rd13 2024: 750pm Eels v Sharks GAME DAY THREAD @ Commbank Stadium May 30th

Yeah, our kick chase I thought was mostly spot on, but we were lazy / sloppy on occasion, like that one. He ran sideways across half the field, he shoulda been f**kin' smashed and driven back for doing that.

The prosecution is funded by the state here, like any prosecution. It's a criminal case, not a civil one. Is there powerful folks in the state that would like to "bring him down" as you say, I'd say for sure. Equally though I'd say there are plenty of powerful folk defending him. It could...

    Rd13 2024: 750pm Eels v Sharks GAME DAY THREAD @ Commbank Stadium May 30th

Because kicking for the corner with a decent chase means trapping the receiver in the corner for the first tackle and then having limited options to pass for the second tackle. If you just kick it out you concede possession to the middle, and their forwards can just amble onside for the...

    Bazball During Origin

It might seem a little early for it, but in terms of making the finals the games against the Dogs and Knights are four point games! The Titans and Roosters games could also be four point games, but not yet locked in I reckon

TBH I don't see how that negates what I said. Pleb more likely to go to jail, a some body ( meaning you know, a person of certain means ) very unlikely. Bearing in mind the charge of falsifying business records would by it's nature be more likely than not committed by a person of means.

    OT: Current Affairs and Politics

The problem with that claim is that it's true only of the falsifying business records charge, which is a misdemeanor. Whereas in this case the falsification is with intent to commit a felony, and the court found he did indeed commit a felony, 34 times. In which case if you were a pleb, yeah...

Honestly, I don't think there's a chance in hell they'll jail him on those charges. If it was some Joe Blogg from buttf**k county nowhere maybe, but not an ex POTUS.

    OT: Current Affairs and Politics

Yep, a felon can run the country, but can't vote for who runs the country. I know it aint happening because no way an ex-POTUS goes to jail on those charges, but I would Laugh my arse off if he had to pardon himself in order to get out of jail to sit in the Whitehouse.

I'm not missing anything. A try not scored is a try not scored, when you compare the defensive record between teams you don't tend to go back and count how tries their opposition bombed. Anyways, it's still a line break, so you count it there.

If but maybe, if Simmonson grounds the ball we lead by another try. Neither of these things happened, sides blow tries, what matters is the ones they don't.

That's very true, but f**k it, I'll get f**king carried away if I want to. Anyways, that's my one and only prediction for the year.

If we win, it'd be unlikely Madge will drop Hynes unless it's a case of winning despite him having a bog average game. Mitch is for sure next man up after Cleary, but you don't f**k with a winning squad to put your second choice halfback in lightly.

For mine it's option C, we have a good squad, but our depth sucks balls in many areas.
