Match Discussion: Round 17 vs Parramatta @ McDonald Jones Stadium, New Lambton / Awabakal

Brailey has deadset turned into 2022 Crossland

Match Discussion: Round 17 vs Parramatta @ McDonald Jones Stadium, New Lambton / Awabakal

That’s absolutely terrible dummy half work on last tackle by Brailey, quickly becoming a massive liability

Match Discussion: Round 17 vs Parramatta @ McDonald Jones Stadium, New Lambton / Awabakal

That pass from dummy half from Brailey killed all momentum

Where on earth were the numbers on that right hand side? That’s Reece Walsh derp like defensive positioning

    NRLW

As you mentioned it’s hard to seperate club affiliations but that aside Hilder just isn’t up to it, I mean given half the team are players from her own club they’d have some combinations and fluidity but the players deadset look like they’ve never met before.

    NRLW

Look the depth isn’t really as strong yet in NRLW so there are a fair few female versions of Jack Cogger running around who in their defence most likely haven’t played a lot of 13 a side rugby league but that’s like bottom end of the equilibrium but for state of origin level it’s really poor, if...

    NRLW

Funny thing was in 2022 she was picked and many people were questioning her selection as she had just won the wooden spoon with us, she has a big game, close to best on ground and we win the game, she then goes on to win a premiership later that year and then Hilder decides she doesn’t like...

    NRLW

No just energy but physicality, Pearson is the NRLW version of Jack Cogger, weak defender, refuses to take on the line, just zero physicality where Southwell will tackle, take on the line and won’t back down.

    NRLW

Hilder would rather pick all her roosters mates than win an origin series and has a weird obsession with Rachael Pearson. I mean games 1 last year she picks Southwell and Pearson in the halves, it just doesn’t work because they’re both out and out halfbacks, Pearson gets dropped and they win...

    2024 (W) Origin III - Thu 27 Jun - QLD 22-6 NSW @ QLD Country Bank

There no rhyme or reason to Hilder’s selection strategy. In 2022 Kirra Dibb was close to player of the match for NSW, she then helps the knights to the premiership alongside Jesse Southwell, you’d think the logically halves combo for 2023 would be Southwell and Dibb but for some reason Hilder...

Because she doesn’t play for the roosters. Hilder chose all her roosters mates and got the result she deserved

    2024 (W) Origin III - Thu 27 Jun - QLD 22-6 NSW @ QLD Country Bank

To be fair most of the tries were individual efforts as opposed to anything manufactured by the halves

    2024 (W) Origin III - Thu 27 Jun - QLD 22-6 NSW @ QLD Country Bank

Yep Hilder decided to pick a highly questionable halves pairing including Corban Baxter who hasn’t played in the halves in years and Rachel Pearson who led Parra to the wooden spoon last year. She had Kirra Dib and Jesse Southwell at her disposal who won a comp together as a combo

    2024 (W) Origin III - Thu 27 Jun - QLD 22-6 NSW @ QLD Country Bank

Surely that ends Hilder’s coaching tenure, some mind boggling selections to say the least, absolutely zero game plan, picked all her roosters mates and got the results she deserved frankly

Tbf that was the most likely avenue for points for nsw

They should be well drilled, the roosters assistant coaches picked 3/4 of the roosters team

NSW 1,6 and 7 have no idea how to draw and pass

    2024 (W) Origin III - Thu 27 Jun - QLD 22-6 NSW @ QLD Country Bank

If we’re penalising that there’s going to be 46 penalties a game

That’s what happens when you have 2 absolute bog average halves who are barely NRLW quality

Uniting LU. Ashleigh Klein is the best referee.

Klein just likes the sound of his own voice honestly
