    I assume they put the draws together after speaking to the clubs and with those fan surveys at the end of the a year, with an eye on the broadcasters too. From the reaction on here it looks like the fans that complete those surveys don’t overlap much at all with those who use this forum...

    Some info on who they are would be good. Perez did groundwork for years leading up to the Wolfpack but these guys have done nothing and want to go straight to a great stadium with a completely unknown sport.

    If it’s successful (a big “If” too) then they won’t be after just players from the NRL. They’ll want coaches and other staff too.

    I stream NRL to my phone with Telstra and it’s been perfect. Ch9 would have to be bonkers to announce this and set it up to fail. The bad PR would be substantial. I think they are starting to look at what the future will be like.
