    The big NRL divide

He struggles reading the defense and his first contact us inconsistent at centre, a bit like Corey Oates, Val Holmes if you are killing it on the wing, stay on the wing, Cotric is only opening the door for other wingers to jump him in the pecking order.

    The big NRL divide

Problem with the Dogs is now Cotric is on the wing is that where he stays? Cotric and JAC so much money going into wingers again could be salary cap being spent unwisely, hope I'm wrong.

    The big NRL divide

In addition the top teams fringe players look ready to go even more than seasoned first graders in lower teams, this has got highlight a big factor. Players like Sebastian Kris, Matt Burton, Ray Stone, many of the Roosters fringe players etc.

    The big NRL divide

Pretty much this, really is too much of a gulf to be put down to one thing. The lack of wrestle does seem to affect some teams ability to hold on.

    The big NRL divide

Probably but their success is based on mainly being better than the Broncos in their own backyard and buying rejects and turning them into stars.

    The big NRL divide

Sign a guy to one year then sign a contract extension with all the bells and whistles for 3 more years.

    The big NRL divide

I'm probably using this example as a double example both about the Storm and the Tigers, sometimes you can't protect clubs from themselves.

    The big NRL divide

Is it poaching when the club letting them go doesn't want them a la Pap and JAC? Cam Smith or Billy Slater?

    The big NRL divide

Players with potential upside. Like Cartwright who has been good in the past, they are already strong without him so it's a minimal risk.

    The big NRL divide

Maybe but they don't pay overs, that is the key, they don't overspend which was the hallmark of the Eels 10 years ago.

    2021 R4 Sat - Gold Coast 4-20 Canberra @ Netstrata Jubilee

Yes but GC are unlikely to win it this year so it's about building the culture and setting up for joining that elite few at the top and being consistently good.

    2021 R4 Sat - Gold Coast 4-20 Canberra @ Netstrata Jubilee

That's a lesson in professionalism. Titans are on the way up but they aren't there yet.
