    JAC signs with Dogs from 2022. How can Canterbury sign everybody -even MWZ has apparently signed on with them. There must be going to be a huge fire sale at Belmore very shortly!

    Apparently, according to the Panthers site, we tried to swap Laurie for Cini which was not accepted by Penrith -something to do with us paying Cini too much thus affecting the Panther’s salary cap. Their cap space must as tight as a fish’s arse. They must be desperate to offload Mansour!

    Training the house down! That’s the first one I’ve seen. I would hate to be relying on Roberts to be our FB. Centre/wing is okay as we have good cover, but at FB we have very little and who knows how reliable he is going to be week to week.

    If Tetevano leaves doesn’t that give you guys the extra cash you require? I wouldn’t be too sad to lose Tetevano to free up some money. The Panthers potentially losing Crichton highlights the cost of success (and makes the GF loss more painful) but no player should hold the club to ransom.

    I also think Momo needs to be there. Due to AD’s Round 1 suspension I think he’ll be at 6 and goal kicker.

    I’m pretty certain the The Tigers will pay to get him over early (especially if it’s 50k or so) otherwise we’ll have to play Mbye at FB! It was mentioned above about what club would release a player without being compensated - alas I know of one. :pensive:

    Why keep Laurie on a development contract? I understand not releasing Burton as he is in the 30 and next in line in the halves. Laurie can’t play i until July. Why deny him the extra money, and a guaranteed Ist grade spot, with no point developing a player who is leaving in November.

If he is, why wouldn’t Penrith just release him now since there seems no point in developing a player who is leaving next year anyway and denying him the extra dollars.     Any truth in the rumour that since Manly signed Saab they are going to release Garrick? Surely we’d need to try to get him over Mansour, even if it was just for goal kicking?

    G’day all. Tetevano could be off to England apparently, there’s Chricton’s money. Read a top 10 wingers Article -Nofo and Mansour were 8th snd 9th apparently.

    I’m not fussed if he wants to leave, he’s spent a long time at the club and given his heart and soul, but what shits me is that he wants to go to Parra! Why not Melbourne?

    That’s all great, but all I’m saying is I don’t think he’ll sign. Do we have someone they want and is willing to shift to Melbourne? We would have had a better shot without Melbourne’s like for like requirement- a la JAC!

    We are the Tigers, we are supposedly linked to everyone, but nobody comes. I hope he does, I just think history is against us. It’s just my opinion. Only time will tell I suppose, I do hope I am wrong and perhaps I have become a pessimist.
