    Crush, I said maybe., see my text above. How do any of us know anything written on here, most of what is written are opinions, ideas, thoughts and rumours, not much fact is written. So I will reword it. In my opinion, we have approached 3 backline players who each said no thankyou.

    Yes Possum, damn crazy decision, but maybe it was because every decent fast backline player they approached said no thanks, not with your coaching set up. Ben Hunt only said yes for the million $$$$

    It wasn't a full on ACL, out for the year if that was the case. I guess we all have our own estimation of how we think our key players perform. Probably a 6 from me. Needs to step up in many ways.

    I would love to know what went through Benny Hunts mind after week 1 training when he realized in horror that he had no Jimmy the Jet anywhere outside him. If Sims was in our back line, he would be our quickest back, shittt!! Dufty aside.

    Guys, you are being too pessimistic about Nicholls. McCrone could not ever have led our nsw cup team to a premiership and interstate championship win. Nicholls led his team tremendously well, even if it was NSW cup. He is way ahead of McCrone in skill, leadership and know how.

    Perhaps the rot started under Wayne when we lost something like 8 of the final 10 games in his final year. The bookies paid out for saints as minor premiers with about 10 games to go. Then whoooosh, we hardly won again. Wayne got them up for the semi vs broncos.....but we lost in golden...
