    Gus also spent time playing for Bondi United when he was boarding in Sydney at his private school. Unfortunately Billy Smith, despite being Bronte through and through, played very limited junior league (he was a union player) in the Souffs juniors comp.

    The 2007/08 emblem is the best I have seen. It's perfect and I always wished that they'd adopt it permanently. As for the name, they're still Easts to me and always will be.
