    Greatest winger ever

Nathan Merritt best position was fullback. He only played winger because Greg Inglis in his prime was too good there. I remember in a game when Inglis got injured, Merritt was moved to fullback against the Tigers and he tore them apart.

    Rumoured Signings

This is "rumored" for sure, Craig Bellamy heading to the Titans after his contract expires. Its largely speculation because Bellamy has family at the Gold Coast and has said he wants to retire there. Also successful coaches changing clubs doesn't always have a happy ending. Tim Sheens was...

    Greatest winger ever

Lote Tuqiri it's a shame that his best years were wasted in union. Michael O'Connor would probably would have to be up there, but I admit that I only saw him at the end of his career with Manly and was too young to see him from his years at St George.

Hasler and the Dogs - What happened?

It's a Bulldogs fire sale, everything must go!!! Apparently it's the reason the team is faltering at the moment James Graham, the Morris twins, Moses Mbye and Greg Eastwood are being shopped heavily but so far no takers...

    Whats Moses MBye's best position

They didn't keep Hodkinson because his knee was stuffed. If it wasn't they would held on to him, he was much better fit pairing with Josh Reynolds. Mbye and Reynolds games are too similar in my opinion.

    Whats Moses MBye's best position

Seriously though I think it would be in the Bulldogs interests and Moses Mbye if they parted company. I wouldn't say there was nothing there, but he's not a halfback and I don't think he's a hooker either. A slashing five-eighth or a centre might be something there, but Mbye needs to work on his...

    Rumoured Signings

Nate Myles considering leaving NRL and finishing his career in English Superleague. Not getting any playing time in first grade, and Storm say there happy for him to stay or grant him a release if he requests it.

    Bad rugby league decisions

I will say though a lot of the critics have quieten down since Penrith have started to rescue their season. They are a lot further back then they were predicted to be this year, but Anthony Griffin isn't feeling the heat that Neil Henry, Michael Maguire, and Des Hasler are feeling at the moment.

    Neil Henry

Yep it's been confirmed here. Problem for Neil Henry he has another year with Jarryd Hayne and he's only got a year left on his contract himself. If NRL stay owner's for now they are likely to let Henry stay on because they don't want to pay out his contract and hire a new coach. If a new...

The Hayne Plane has crashed and burned

Love this piece on foxsports.com.au "Jarryd Hayne’s form is well short of a man on seven figures, and the circus around his future will crank up again when he becomes a free agent once more from November 1." There shouldn't be a circus because for the Titans he's expendable. He has a contract...

    Bad rugby league decisions

    - Superleague allowing players to choose there own numbers and retiring rugby league jersey numbers. - Tri-series QLD, NSW, and NZ in attempt from Superleague to replace state of origin.

    Broncos Rant

The Tevita Pangai pass was just plain cheeky.

No team has ever won the premiership after conceding 50pts in a regular season match

This article for Neil Henry couldn't have come out at the worst time on a 54-0 drubbing. I actually felt bad for them tonight, there was one pass that they threw that went to ground and went forward and you could see Jarryd Hayne and I think Anthony Don yelling they were very frustrated...

    Suliasi Vunivalu

Here's the clip, but it's not very good one because it doesn't show it in normal speed. I love these armchair critics suggesting Chambers bombed a sitter.

    Suliasi Vunivalu

Yeah to be fair to Chambers that happened awfully quick. On the first viewing I actually didn't see Cooper Cronk on the inside either, it was only when Peter Sterling pointed it out on the replay I noticed Cronk. Hindsight's a wonderful thing.

I think if Mansour stays healthy he's up there. It's no coincidence that Penrith have been rubbish this season without him.

    Gold Coast Bears/Nth Sydney/Gosford

I think the Bears logic keep repeating often enough in the media it will be a realty. NRL have already taken a view that Gold Coast won't survive with another name change, but the Bears won't quit. I love these stories of "Bears set to return to NRL" and "Bears are one step closer". There has...
