Rumoured and Confirmed signings - Part 4

Telegraph reporting Peach to leave in 2019 for the Titans... thoughts? Peachey can be a very dangerous player but is probably wasted off the bench. If it means we can keep Cleary and Mansour I would be fine with this.

Which teams are likely to improve in the NRL in 2018?

I still have Knights around bottom 4-5 because their defence has always been the issue and I'm not entirely convinced their signings, while great, can immediately fix this. If they fix up their defence they can definitely improve.

Where will the Penrith Panthers finish in 2018?

A lot of competition for spots in next year's top eight with the raiders dragons and even bulldogs all a chance of making it. I have cowboys storm and roosters as locks for top four and Brisbane as a lock for the top eight. Reckon we can snag 5th next year at the best but given the competition...

Rumoured and Confirmed signings - Part 4

Nathan works for the Western Weekender and if you scroll through the comments, when asked if he is just copying the Telegraph headline or actually knows it is for sure he responded: "We've been told it's happening, yes." On a side note I'll be interested to see how Buzz Slothfield handles the...

    The Moylan Files

All Moylan needs is a bit of stability in terms of injuries and off-field dramas and he'll be fine.

Rumoured and Confirmed signings - Part 4

Letting Seg go was the right call IMO given that after 1 break out year after that he was just predictable and worse than Wallace in that he would dance around dummy half rather than give fast quick passes. Happy with Jennings going too. Would have liked to have kept Lewis as he would be the...

Rumoured and Confirmed signings - Part 4

Put simply. Moylan has more upside. And he has already shown that he can be a game breaker.

Rumoured and Confirmed signings - Part 4

Gould has just said in his speech that Akuaola is the only player leaving and we will not be recruiting any players from outside the club for next year. I guess we will find out soon if that is true.

Griffin has officially been extended until the end of 2020. Announced by Gould at the awards night tonight.

Rumoured and Confirmed signings - Part 4

It's what the article from channel 7 says but I guess you would say that they (penrith when we announced it) were very vague about it, hopefully the truth will come out soon though

Rumoured and Confirmed signings - Part 4

https://au.sports.yahoo.com/league/a/37343414/nrl-major-roadblock-stopping-matt-moylans-move-to-cronulla/ Alleges that Moylan did not have any mental illness and that that was all made up by the club to cover up the fact that he did not get on well with Griffin. I truly hope that is not the...

    2018 ladder predictions

Yeah I think we need a full season from Moylan to be a shot. Our attack in the opposition 20 is still looking like an after thought and until we fix that we won't be doing much in finals.

Your RD 1 2018 line up

McKendry back Round 1 from an ACL injury, I highly doubt that. He needs fitness in NSW Cup even before we consider bringing him back. Unfortunately for him, while he has been injured, a number of youngsters such as CHN and Kikau have proven themselves to be more than capable and are more likely...

Your RD 1 2018 line up

I personally feel that, even though they (Nicholls and Cleary) are similar players, if Moylan was to leave, I would look possibly at Darren Nicholls before Luai. I just feel as if while Luai has electric footwork, Nicholls also deserves a shot given his consistency and kicking game. I feel we...

    ISP Vs Papua New Guinea

PNG do look slick in attack. Our defence is very good atm though. Nicholls needs to be re-signed not just off this but off his whole season.
