    News Coronavirus and NRL

I haven’t played TS ‘19 in a while, besides a couple of conquest games the other day. I haven’t played RTTS. Usually play Diamond Dynasty. Are you playing’19 or ‘20? I haven’t got ‘20.

    MLB Thread

I was really looking forward to the 2020 MLB season, the only other sport besides NRL I really care about. Anyway, like everything else Corona ruined that... Just discovered a pretty cool consolation though - https://www.mlb.com/playersleague I’ve just watched a bit of my man Rhys Hoskins...

    News Coronavirus and NRL

Too bad there isn’t a good NRL video game. I only just discovered MLB have got a league of The Show (MLB game on PS4) going, with a player representing each team playing against others. I guess their wins and losses go to the team they represent, like in a real season. Not many...

What Movies Have You Seen III

I watched I Am Legend for about the tenth time last night. It’s not the best flick and Will Smith is an average actor, but it’s one of those movies that if it happens to be on, I’ll usually watch it. It was even more attractive seeing New York isn’t far off it (sarcasm, but not really) these days.

What Movies Have You Seen III

Watched it recently. What is otherwise not the most engaging story, albeit related to an important moral conundrum, made worth watching by them two.

What Movies Have You Seen III

Watched Hostiles last night. It’s a very brutal and intense look at the harsh life of an army captain, his detail, native Americans and a frontierswoman. The acting ensemble lead by Christian Bale is very good. Rosamund Pike (yum), Ben Foster, Stephen Lang and Jesse Plemons all stand out. It’s...

    What's good on Netflix?

Watching episode one now. Semi-interesting so far. More annoying for reminding me of how liberal some U.S state laws are allowing people to keep almost any type of animal and the problems that creates.

    What's good on Netflix?

Haha that was awesome but has many spoilers. I stopped it after a few minutes. I heard enough to wanna see for myself.

What Movies Have You Seen III

Mile 22: A fairly typical Mark Wahlberg trope of a military/intelligence action thriller. There’s a lot of violence and not much substance. I actually like some of his other films of this genre (especially Shooter) but this was pretty bland. Decent plot twist but by then you don’t care...

Next Time On An All New TV General Discussion Thread

Hmm, that sucks, but I got a sense of that from ep.4. I’m still eager to see how it turns out though. I’m up to the point where they basically explain the phenomenon. Part of the fun was the mystery, but there’s still some curiosities.

Next Time On An All New TV General Discussion Thread

Watched the first 3 episodes of The Outsider tonight and I want more! Not usually into King stories but I bloody love this. So dark and strange, foreboding and ominous. Yeah, I know it’s probably descriptive of most of his stuff lol. I’m a fan of Bateman and Mendelsohn so that had me interested...

What Movies Have You Seen III

Watching Straight Outta Compton... ..I haven’t listened to much rap over the past 25 years, but these NWA would still kill it today, like they did during the few years I was into rap. Back then.. NWA, Geto Boys, Public Enemy, Ice T, Run DMC and many others were good and I’d probably still...

    What's good on Netflix?

Ozark 3rd season just dropped, so will be bingeing that soon. I’m up to about ep.6 of Altered Carbon and am still enjoying it, but some aspects are a bit difficult to follow. Some good plot lines happening though, with the ambiguity of who people really are and not being able to really know...

    What Games Are You Playing?

Started FC5 and love it. Looks amazing and I like the theme. So much so, that I bought a Father ‘the calling’ statue after only seeing a review of the game. I have only just started playing so can’t give a thorough review.

    What Games Are You Playing?

I love it but have only got to level 3 or something and stopped playing due to having so many unplayed games. Recently got ability to ride the bike which helps the tedium of hiking. I like that aspect of the game because of the spectacular landscape (must play in 4k hdr) but not the long hikes...

    What's good on Netflix?

Bit old of a show and had it on my watchlist for ages, but finally got around to watching the first 2 eps of Altered Carbon. One of the best shows I’ve seen in ages. Love the themes and cyberpunk world/style, and the adult content lol. Very intrigued of where it will go. I’ve only seen Kinnaman...

    News Coronavirus and NRL

Just saw Nathan Cleary being interviewed on 100% Footy and was so impressed. His answers about his and other players’ experience the last 2 weeks, dealing with pay cuts and the season being suspended, were mature, level-headed and sensible. Very impressive from such a young man.

    Rumoured Signings

It is surprising. Agreed him and Hoppa would make a good combo. He was expected to go back to Canberra, but with the Lei in Leipana gone it might not be as desirable. Dogs need a whole new team it sounds like lol. Rapana is better than Smith, Crichton and Meaney. Put him next to Hoppa and...

    2020 R2 Sun - Wests Tigers 24-42 Knights @ Leichhardt

Yes, with chartered flights of around 30 people and strict conditions around teams and staff, it’s far from a risk to the public. After all that’s the point of all these restrictions. Having NRL teams FIFO is very low risk.
